I have been to several of the different warehouses and by far Akron is my favorite. The staff here goes out of therr way to make sure you get great customer service form check in to check out. Probablky sad to say but some of them know me by name which with as many people that they deal with is quite impressive. Highly reccomend using this warehouse and site to get those ite,s you need. As the name implies Merchindise at cost.

From check in, to looking for your items, to check out, there is someone always around and willing to help at the Akron location. You can find some great deals with M@C Discount. M@C has several locations so be aware of what location your bidding at or you’ll either have to lose items that you won or have to go on a road trip to get said items. My husband had a long day through PA and Ohio because he didn’t realize he was bidding at locations that don’t transfer to locations that are close to us. (Lol) They truly have something for everyone.

Facility was easy to find and the check in process once there was quick and efficient.By using my app I was able to easily find my item and proceed to check out desk to complete the process and leave.

They do not clarify there items enough. Half of everything that is "open box" is used an without parts. I get they try to clarify this an say at your own risk so I'm not mad about taking my loss. But a loss is a loss an I've been with missing parts too often when I would've done good business

The customer service both online and in person is excellent! ?? I had questions about getting my things since it was my first time doing this auction company. Madison answered my questions online quickly both times. When I went to pick up my things one of the guys in the warehouse volunteered to get my things himself which I really appreciated as I was in a lot of pain that day. I just had to say something because you just don't get good customer service like this every day. I got it in 1 day both online and in person. My daughter recommended this to me and I will definitely be back. ??????

Amazing deals. Highly organized. The manager, DaQuan is absolutely wonderful. It was my first visit to the warehouse and he went above and beyond to assist me with my purchases. He is definitely an asset to the company. Highly recommend!!!

Akron M@C Discount location has an amazing staff! Just today I had Quite a few pickups in the back area. Tyrone has such patients, and a good attitude! Actually he makes having to walk all the way to the back a pleasure. Then there is Rick up front at check out, always with a happy greeting. The staff there makes saving money even more of a joy!

I started investigating M@C Discount (M@C Bid) after a friend sold me an open box item that he paid $15 for, sold to me for $30 and cost retail $150. I did my due diligence and checked out the BBB, any number of websites referencing the company and decided to take a chance on bidding on a few small items at auction.I also bought the monthly membership as they make transfers to my local Akron warehouse from 4 other locations free of charge on those items that are transfer-eligible (not everything is, so pay attention!) They also give you 1 free return no questions asked, on a rolling monthly date ( example, October 15th to November 14th). You can also purchase no-fault return assurance on almost all items for $5 each.I won some auction bids (remember, you are buying, not winning!) and then had some questions that weren't in the FAQ's on their website. I called after their opening hours at 10 AM and got the auto attendant hold, and about 30 seconds later Stephanie answered and (after I asked) she told me I was calling their offices in South Carolina. I proceeded to ask my questions and she explained everything to my satisfaction, and even helped me to set up some shortcuts on the website, like auto-transfers and pickup locations. She was genuinely helpful and kind. I have since called back 2 more times and talked with Julie and Angela, and to my surprise each call was as enjoyable as the first.My next step was to go to the warehouse, and I was gratified to find that the people there were also very helpful, courteous and pleasant to work with. I want to personally thank Barry, who works at check-in, Olori who works in returns, Tyree, who works in protected pickup, Jermaine and Ray, who work in check-out, one young lady whose name I didn't ask but who has the biggest smile and the kindest attitude, and the manager Kevin. There are several more kind people who gave me their full attention and service when I needed it, and whose name I hope to yet learn. I cannot stress how friendly and helpful all of these folks have been to me, and I have now been at that location on 6 occasions, all of which have been excellent experiences. I also have had occasion to pick up at the Warren, Boardman, Butler and Canton locations, all of which was peopled with the same like-minded demeanors as I found in Akron. This "coincidence" can be no accident, and reeks of a service oriented, people first corporate culture that cannot be feigned or counterfeited.I have now purchased almost 300 separate items, bought and returned about 10% as damaged or missing parts (with the Buyers Assurance) and inspected another 20% pre-auction that I passed on due to the same reasons (their disclosures give you fair warning that open box can mean damaged or missing parts so Caveat Emptor!)So far I have spent about 5k, realized about a 62% savings average over retail, and made about 33% profit average on items I re-sold so far ( and I expect those averages to go up since I started buying higher priced items). Those are significant numbers and I believe that they can be duplicated by anyone who knows how to comparison shop, has a great deal of self control (this site is not for those with poor impulse control, and you know who you are ;-) , knows what can and can't be resold easily, and who has some discretionary time and money to invest.I would also recommend this business to anyone who is looking to purchase specific items for personal consumption, as you can search for what you want to get some UH-mazing deals, if you have the time and patience!A heartfelt thank you goes from me to everyone in the SC office and the Akron warehouse, as it has truly been an enjoyable experience to work with all of you.You will be hearing from or seeing me again soon!

I love my Mac Bid friends at Akron! The gentleman that checks me in almost every time I come in is always so polite! The Z crew today got me all my items quickly and with smiles on their faces! Thank you for your great customer service you always provide when I come in!

This location has really gone down hill. Due to theft smaller items are behind a net. The place smells like they are smoking weed inside, and the workers hide in between isles on their phones with headphones on. Other M@C Bids do not operate this way. If you need help you have to go up to a table that has a sign “ don’t just stand there ask for help”. The manager does not seem to care how badly this place is being run. The employees are so rude, and the pictures they take do not even show the whole item. Honestly if I did not enjoy getting deals on M@C Bid I would never go back. While inside I worry my car will get broken into. If you can avoid Akron I would HIGHLY suggest making the drive elsewhere. If you have to go to Akron I would recommend taking blood pressure medicine prior.
