I would definitely recommend this shop, I went in for an oil change which was crazy cheap, cost me half what I’d have spent at a take five even got my air filters done and I don’t think I hit what the oil alone had cost me. They did an inspection and the report they send you is a bit messy, it’s got a huge liability section and you have to scroll all over the place while tracking prices and jobs, but it’s easy enough to remove what you need to and the techs will walk you through everything at the desk. The shop is pretty busy so be ready for a wait but the techs will acknowledge you quickly when you get there. Overall the experience was very positive, though just like I’d say with any service station just use your own judgement, some people’s tolerances for what they think is safe for them, and what is recommended can be different, and none of the problems they find are mandatory to fix right then. The main purpose is to inform you of an issue/irregularity.

I brought my car in to Midas about a month ago because a heat shield was violently rattling under my car. Midas had me in and out of there with no charge in 5 minutes. Something new started rattling last week, and I brought my car back to Midas after having such a great experience with them before. They took care of my broken axles and did a full inspection on my little old car which gives me a ton of confidence moving forward. 1* off only because they pulled the usual upchargy stuff like air filter changing and coolant flushing that any car place tries to insist on doing. Customer service was excellent, and they gave me a small discount to get most of the work done. Thank you, Midas!

I never leave reviews on things, but for this I had to. Taking my car to Midas almost killed me.
I took my car in for a normal oil change before my trip to GA. Nothing complicated. I was suspicious that I had maybe a slow leak in my front left tire or back left tire so I asked them to look at it but not do any work on it.
I arrived at 5:45 p.m. to pick up my car and they close at 6. When driving I pulled my car out to exit the property, my car WOULDN'T BRAKE. They're exit to their building is on a busy street. Luckily the other drivers were paying attention and were able to get in the lane farthest from me. My car was halfway in the road and halfway on the street. I had to use my EMERGENCY brake to stop my car.
I lived 2 minutes away from Midas. I was able to get my car back safely. At first I thought I was crazy and maybe I wasn't paying attention. But when I got to my place I knew that something was horribly wrong. I had my friend drive my car in our parking lot and she looked at me in fear and agreed that wasn't how it was when we took it in.
After investigation, we saw my brake fluid was significantly low. We thought maybe they had drained it to get more business, which is so sickening. However, it was much worse than that. We filled it up and as I was pumping the brakes we heard a noise like air coming out of a balloon and all the sudden all my fluid rushed out of my car.... They damaged my brake line. Whether this was an accident or on purpose to get more business, they made a huge mistake. They almost caused a car accident to where I could've been hurt OR someone else.
I thought they were saying with their 4.7 stars and 430 reviews. Almost all of them I saw were good. But when I went there they also offer you $5 off of you submit a Google review. It all made sense why so many reviews were good. People did it before they got their cars back.

I took my car there 3 months ago to get work done. After the very costly work- My engine light popped back on and I had to get it diagnosed again-they sent me a report and half of the problems were things they claimed to have fixed. Dylan does not seem to be knowledgeable about cars and plays stupid when asked simple questions regarding the work his workers completed. I will be taking my itemized bill for the repairs they claimed to have done. They make it seem like they are honest people, but they are really purposely damaging your cars to get more work done.

I've been here twice, ever. Once was for rear brake lines after busting the lines after hitting the brakes a bit too hard. The work was solid enough, but the up charge in parts is absolutely horrendous, all while trying to point out other non-existent problems to try and push me to get more done. After that experience, I had determined I would never return.
Until today, and a good bit of this is on me. I jumped at a coupon deal I saw online, but missed the detail that supported vehicles are dependent on the store. That's on me. The problem is, I scheduled online, and their number is often listed as spam according to the manager. So I expected to pay a fair bit more in general. I drive a Euro car, stuff will be a bit more expensive. 100+ dollars for an oil change in a small car, even for a VW Jetta, is an absolute ripoff. A mechanic needs to upcharge parts to stay open, and I get that. However, This is the most expensive location I've ever had work done at, for equal or less quality than others. I'm just glad I refused the closer look they offered.
The staff was friendly, so I feel bad for writing such a review but there just isn't enough Pro's for me to ever recommend Midas as a company, let alone this location. I will continue to perform my own work. Or continue supporting small honest businesses.
My suggestion to others, is communicate other nearby locations. Or call them, to ask questions in regards to any coupons they offer.
I made this 3 stars instead of 2 due to my own error, and because they knocked a bit of the crazy price. The work was quick, and had little wait time.

Midas has been the repair shop for my family for over 10years because it’s convenient and the prices are fair and the staff is great.
I recently had an issue with my brakes and Midas Ghent/Montrose took care of it immediately and made sure I was satisfied.
