I’ve rented a few trailers and an RV from RVShare. The process is easy and straightforward. Each time, the rental has met or exceeded the expectations. My only real complaint is the cost of insurance that you are required to get. For a 4 day rental, it was 53% of the cost of the rental (rental: $372, insurance: $194). I understand there’s a higher risk, but it feels excessive when compared to the cost of the rv rental. They really need to figure out how to get that under control.

RVShare was a very easy and seamless experience. They were also very pleasant, professional, and responsive with all my interactions. I will use them again in the future.

Worry-Free Rental Guarantee is false advertising. I rented a motorhome from RVShareI rented a motorhome from RVShare. Price was decent, but the insurance was really high even for the highest deductible price. Insuring it with my own insurance company wasn't an option. My insurance company would have added the week's rental to my policy for less than $20 rather than the almost $500 insurance through RVshare. I also paid a $500 security deposit. The motorhome owner seemed very nice. The motorhome was pretty nice. My trip was fine except when I got to my destination, my brother noticed there was a flat tire on the inside dual tire. He also said the other tires were in horrible condition from sun and weather exposure. He was upset at the owner for sending me with them in that condition. I wasn't used to driving something tall and I brushed up against tree branches. That damaged the awning and paint finish. My brother said for the awning to fall apart the way it did, it like the tires had to have been already in horrible condition due to sun and weather damage. The 24 hour roadside service person agreed with his conclusion. I spent a half a day in the tire shop. I returned the RV. The seemingly nice owner fraudulently charged me with generator hour overage which I absolutely did not use it more than a couple hours. I disputed the overages. RVShare withdrew the $1000 (which added to the $500 security deposit is the $1500 deductible) plus the $200+ overages from my bank account without notice as soon as damage and overages we're reported and before the dispute or insurance adjustment even had a chance to get started. It is impossible to talk to anyone at RV share who is located in the USA. Their international customer service people are helpful before the trip, but can't do anything for you afterward. I contested the withdrawals and the overdraft charges with VISA. VISA ruled in my favor and refunded my money, but now I can't get a hold of anyone to solve payment of the damages. RVShare has non-existent customer service after the sale, bad business practices of withdrawing money from bank accounts prematurely, and absolutely no communication.Date of experience: June 06, 2023

I found some things easy to maneuver through in this site and some very complicated and down right difficult. Getting a driver added took too long and RV Share passed the situation to the insurance and then the opposite. It was like how does something so difficult get so complicated.I also hate the insurance part of things where if someone is fully insured, this doesn't matter, causing the rental price to fully soak up a lot of unnecessary money. I would possibly do this again, but then again I would also look for other options. The one positive thing is some of the people you rent from. We got lucky, but with a few issues. One never knows what they can be charged with. We did get our full refund. All in all it was good from who we rented, but RV Share is somewhat a pain when someone needs help.

RV share at first seemed like a good idea. A family vacation made affordable.Anyhow, there was an accident that caused minor cosmetic damage to the RV while in our possession. We took full responsibility for it when speaking to the owner and she insisted she has to make the claim then we were to follow up from there.Somehow the owner of the RV made TWO claims! Claiming damage on the other side of the RV which in messages between us, she admits was there previously before it was in our possession after we sent her the before pictures we took of thr RV the day we picked it up.TWO CLAIMS meant that their company took TWO $1,000 deductibles out of our account!Since the vacation ended, RV share locked us out of the account which shows conversation/communication between the RV owner and myself! Each time I call RV share, they send me to an insurance broker line, which I am left on hold for hours at a time. I have been promised a phone call back from this broker of theirs and still haven't heard from them since! How can you make TWO insurance claims and deduct money from MY account without confirming with me any information?!?!Also, we returned the RV in better cleanliness and shape (besides the exterior damage from the accident). The owner AGREED that we should expect our $500.00 deposit to be returned to u used towards the insurance deductible. Meaning all that RV Share should have asked PERMISSION to remove from my bank account was an additional $500.00 NOT $2,000.00!!!For the amount of money it has costed us to deal with this sketchy company just to go camping, we could have spent the week in Hawaii or Disney!I would never recommend RV Share to anyone!

They give the renter a 72 hour period of time to where they can report damages. I rented an RV and when we delivered it, there were no damages and when the owner drove it to their home now there is damages. RV share took out $850 out of my account with no warning or anything. There is currently a dispute about the damage claim because we let the owner inspect the RV when we dropped it off inside an out and they said there was no damages and they are trying to set us up with damages to the RV that the owner did so that they could collect money from us. Be warned RV share is out to scam people.

Overall it was very good. The most annoying part was the constant reminders to fill out a departure form... 4-5 emails in about 2 days... All before I had even seen the trailer to actually check to see if it was all accurate. And now 3 reminders to review the user and 2 to review rvshare. Otherwise everything was very good.

The RV we rented was nowhere near from OK (filthy, different one than on the ad, nothing in it, owners where not reachable, ...) We never took posession of the RV because we didn't agree with it. RV-share started to help us out, but never completed it, we are still waiting for our refund after 2 months, no e-mails, no messages, silent...

My post-trip experience wasn’t so good. The owner of the RV claimed small damages which went to the insurance company. RVShare holds the security deposit in this case and has the return form pending. The claim process took longer than expected and when I asked RVShare for details they said I had to talk to the insurance company but when I asked the insurance company they said I had to talk to RVShare. On multiple occasions RVShare basically said they couldn’t help me. The insurance claim is what it is however, I didn’t appreciate the run around and lack of assistance. I personally will not use RVShare again because of this.

Terrible checkout process, which should be illegal if politicians didn't have their heads up their butts. I canceled my trip right away, but got screwed by this extremely unethical company (rvshare) because I used Affirm for payment plan (which you they accept), and NOTHING is said about Insurance in the total cost on the RV rental page, nothing. Not even a heads up to the different options, being allowed to waive the insurance, or total cost of it, and it is adding $495 extra to my trip after I already paid for the RV and taxes and Deposit coverage! I planned for the amount on the RV rental page and not even before the payment page is it shown to be forced to get your insurance, but AFTER! What kind of malarkey is this? I cannot believe they don't do it before paying and not let the person know they will have an additional charge until after? That is extremely shady and pathetic. I canceled my RV and I will never this company, ever. Heed my warning.

I had a great experience using RVshare. I rented a nice camper trailer for the AirVenture show in Oshkosh WI. The owners were very nice and had great communication. The RVshare website worked great. All my payments went through just fine and all official documents, like the insurance worked just fine as well. If I had one criticism, it would be that there was no way to easily print my documents and there was no official invoice listing all line items included in my payment. I did get that info in an email and it is on the website but having an easy way to print it all out would have been handy to share with my group that all pitched in on the payment.

Very disappointing experience with #RVshare and their insurance company #DigiSure. We rented an RV that was fairly old and realised it had very low maintenance. Two days before we came back, one of the windows fell while we were driving, although it was a back window that was perfectly sealed and never opened. We immediately related the incident. The owner filled an insurance claim and we have been automatically debited full amount of deposit of 1500 $ from #digisure with no warning, email or proof or justification or invoice. After 5 days chasing them on the phone, they finally confirmed that according to the T&Cs of RVshare, the renter is liable for any issues you may have whatever the problem. We therefore ended up paying for maintenance and repair of an old RV, owner using the opportunity to charge renters for the far too old RVs maintenance he should have paid himself.Be really careful of their insurance company #Digisure which is simply a rip off for renters or simply avoid #RVshare to avoid doubling the cost of your holidays !

RV Share Smart match feature matched me with a qualified and great renter literally 2 days before my trip. This service is pretty much everything is claims to be and I would recommend it to anyone who needs and RV and really doesnt know where to start.

Roaches woke me up….Owners did not disclose we had extra visitors on board . Owners knew that there was roaches on board along with ants . Unlimited generator use until it died on 2end week of a two week rental and was it hot with no a/c .The fridge broke the last 3 days . We had a blowout lol this is the cherrie on top . The spare tire had multiple holes in it. ( Owners did not check RV properly before renting it to us is there not a check list for this ??? ) Rv Share offers worry free with road side assistance they refused to come help us unless we further paid over $1,000 there was damage done because of these events and asking us to further pay. Our family safety was put at risk NOT ONE MANAGER is calling us on follow ups ? They got their 2 weeks rental fee and want more ..

Do not rent from RV share! They support shady RV owners, support renting unsafe RVs, and if you have any issues during your trip with your RV mechanically, you will be on hold for hours and wait for hours more for roadside assistance. Then at the end when you are told by the owner at check out "all good", you will get a bill from RV share taking big money out of your deposit. When you try to find out what and point out it is not covered or permitted based off the contract you sign, your cc will be charged and they will not get back to you. We are dealing with this now, after having our vacation ruined, I can promise RV Share we will fight this till the end. If I could give 0 stars for RV Share and Ken's RV in ABQ NM I would!
