Nice paths. The lake is dirty. Riff Raff makes it almost unbearable to walk. Would get a better review if you cleaned house better.
Playground: Don't bring your kids unless you would like to explain what a Crack head is.
Toilets: Port o john.

Summit Lake really has stepped up and invested time & money into making this neighborhood better!!
Dog-friendliness: Just watch geese! Lol
Picnic area: They provided around 8 grill's, 10 picnic tables, a gazebo, plus 4-6 fire pits. All that's by the community center. I have not been down to Nature center area to see everything new that way!

Gorgeous! I lived at Summit Lake 30 years ago. Went for a walk with a friend this Monday( Eclipse Day)and couldn't get over the improvements they have done. On a whim I ducked into the Community Center and asked if they possibly would have a pair of eclipse glasses. The very warm and personable employee( African American woman) said yes she did and did I want a few. Wow! She was telling me about all the changes they have done and all the plans they have for the future. So beyond excited they have actually implemented some of those plans. People were talking about these dreams when I was moving out of the neighborhood that long time ago.So happy things are becoming a reality.

A fantastic trail very clean and well groomed. Heavily used which is important. People are friendly and polite. Akron has wonderful trails here. All people should take advantage using them. Great benefits comes from walking daily outdoors it's been a blessing to me.

When I was younger I lived very near there. My little girl and I used to walk the towpath trail often. We inevitably ended up going to the park and community center. At the center, together we learned to dance. They also had several community outreach programs. Good memories.
