Nice course. Well maintained. Fairways are in great shape, even after the drought we have had carts are in good shape

I had never seen a starter actually yell at a group because they were teeing off a few minutes past tee time. And actually yelled while one of them was swinging. What really didn't make sense was that there were multiple groups already out that had the course backed up. Not sure what the whole thing was about, but the starter really seemeed to instigate the back-and-forth. Then watched him do the same as the group finished their round. The course was still not ready for the season, but the layout was nice. A little pricey for the condition it was in. Probably not going to be a top choice for me.

Was $50 cash in March from temporary tees, now it's $65 cash and still in early season condition. Can't wait to see what they charge in the summer months...

Always overbooked, Paid full price $50 to use temporary tee boxes in the rough, and when I arrived they said it was cash only. This should be a $35 course for pre season. When it’s actually golf season, $50 seems respectable.

The course is great. But, they scheduled an 11 am shotgun round for this weekend and said no reservations were required. So, we showed up at 10am to check in and they asked if we had a reservation ?. So we didn’t get to play and then all other local courses were already booked solid because they, like any reasonable course does, book tee times.

Turkeyfoot Lake Golf Links holds a special place in my golfing heart, mainly because of its proximity to my home and the summer leagues I enter. In my recent rounds in 2023, I must say the course has never looked better. The fairways are in impeccable condition, and the putting greens are not only beautiful but also impeccably maintained. As of the end of December, the course unveiled new golf carts, minus GPS, yet remarkably comfortable. One distinctive feature of Turkeyfoot, setting it apart from many Northeast Ohio courses, is its resilience against flooding. The course efficiently absorbs rainwater like a sponge, ensuring rare instances of puddles on the fairways. I wouldn't label Turkeyfoot as a challenging course; rather, it leans towards the easier side. As a 15-handicap player, I've found my comfort zone and know the strategic safe spots to aim for to secure those pars.Rumors are circulating that the water 9 might not be part of the course in 2024, as it's supposedly been sold. However, conflicting stories suggest it might remain open until construction begins. Keep that information in mind with a grain of salt, as details may evolve.

The course is typically in good shape. The greens are fast and still receptive. Not sure if the tee times are packed together or what, but it always seems like, even with a foursome, we are waiting on every hole for the groups in front of us to play. Not to any fault of the groups in front, it just seems like every group is waiting on every hole. Great course to play if you aren't in a hurry!

I’m a relative newbie to golf, but this course was in incredible condition. The greens and fairways were near perfect conditions and almost look artificial. It’s a challenging course, but if you have some patience, a ton of fun.
