Gas tank almost empty and inside box was very dirty when picking up. Had to get gas before going anywhere.

This location is a nightmare
I figured a corporate U-Haul center would be a safe bet for a quick and easy equipment rental. I was wrong.
As of this posting the fact that this business has a 2.9/5 star rating is surprising. I would encourage anyone reading this to steer clear of this location
Rude staff and beat up equipment. My rental was checked out with an under-inflated tire and covered in gravel from a prior rental
Do yourself a favor and avoid this location

The young man working there tonight (March 29 2024) was so helpful and friendly. It was very busy, his system wasn’t working, and I’m sure had been dealing with impatient customers all night but he still was friendly and helpful and went out of his way to help me set up my trailer. He deserves a raise!!!

The van I received was atrocious!In my check out there is a step to take a picture of the interior and clean up so that you can avoid a cleaning charge. Well the person before me left mud, wrappers, and marijuana in the U-Haul. It reeked of smoke and it is absolutely unacceptable that I am expected to pay for the condition this U-Haul was in.

Have used storage for two months, door is bent and hard to open. Have requested a rope extension to open door also took more than 30 days, just happened to catch him there. Manager refused to service door, with lubrication or inspect how the door is too hard to lift. Will never use Fountain Street ever again.

Scheduled a hitch install and the day of they told me my vehicle could not have it installed, even though I entered all my vehicles information prior to the installment. So now on my moving day, I have no way to move. Ethan was rude and unprofessional and literally had more attitude than me & im a girl lol. It was giving sassy.

Terrible experience at this Uhual branch, I had reserved a 26" truck and the Man in the photo did not rent the truck to me, saying that my Florida license, due to the fact that it said Temporary, did not authorize me to rent the truck, he asked me to I needed an international license for that, really stupid. I called the UHUAL Customer Service Center, they verified my license and referred me to a nearby Branch where I was able to rent without a problem. I had to move from Akron to Florida, I was finally able to do it, It has the qualification it deserves.

I just attempted to pick up a truck I had rented through the website. The man, whose name I don't have but who strongly resembles Reginald from "Monster House", was rude, condescending, and mendacious. The truck I was supposed to rent intolerably reeked of cigarettes and had the check engine light on. When notifying him the light was on, he shrugged it off and said all of the trucks had the lights on. If that is indeed true, NO ONE should rent from this place until this problem is fixed. And even if this problem is fixed, no one should use this location while "Reginald" works here. In addition to everything I stated above, he rudely interrogated my chosen rental option and moving plans, and assumed I knew nothing about the truck I was renting. Safe to say I cancelled my rental and am avoiding going to this place - and likely ANY U-Haul locations- ever again.

Sent my father in law to have a hitch installed - once it was and he had the part for his wheel chair installed, it was leaning down to the ground. Because of the safety concern we couldn't take it back to this location (being 30 mins away)- it was put on a lift and found that the bolts on the left side were next tightened!I called and spoke to manager Ethan - asked for a refund for the installation (because it wasn't done properly), he stated he was who did the install and knows he did it right because he has done it for years. He asked why we didn't bring it back to his location for inspection, and we explained how far it far, it was unsafe and we wouldn't allow the person who failed to install right the first time to inspect their own work.In the process of an action file and awaiting a manager above him to hopefully at least provide a refund.Do not recommend an install of a hitch from here, unless you are looking to have whatever you are hauling cause an accident!

Reserved a truck online. Picked it up with no hassle, and had an easy time returning it in the evening, even though the shop was closed for the day.
