Very unprofessional and the website said I can get a 10 foot truck and drop off at a different store where I'm moving to get here to be told rudely that the only truck I can do that with is a 26 foot truck I don't even need a 10 foot truck I needed a van but can't pick it up here and drop it off where I need to move this is not right at all it was a black male not sure of his name around 11:15 am this morning I work customer service as well and he has poor customer service skills he might want to think about a new job...

The general manager heard me on the phone complaining to U-Haul corporate and put a e alert on my account so I couldn't rent a U-Haul from another location. Super unprofessional. Christopher Millard is his name don't not deal with this person.

I have to say this. Uhaul does not stand by its word. I rented a car hauler to drive down to fort cambell to get my son's car because he is being deployed. The customer service rep told me that it would be $140.00 but then suggested to just pick it up into Tennessee and haul it one way. Yeah thanks to her kind suggestion it cost me $237.00 and they will not honor the quoted price. My advise to anyone dealing with uhaul DO NOT TRUST THEM. THE WILL NOT INFORM YOU OF ANY PRICE CHANGES BECAUSE IF THEY CAN GET YOU FOR DOUBLE THE AMOUBT THE WILL. DONT WORRY THEY WILL SAY SORRY CHEAP WORDS FOR DOUBLE THE RIP OFF. RENT YOUR EQUIPMENT SOMEWHERE ELSE NEXT TIME PAY ATTENTION TO THE RATINGS GO FOR NO RATING LESS THE 4.0. THERE IS A REASON YOU CANT GET AT LEAST 4.0. I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE UHAUL GET TWO MEN AND A TRUCK!!!!

Terrible customer service. Returned the truck after opening the door 1.5 times because the wire came off the track, now I'm stuck in their parking lot with a broken door and all they can do is shrug their shoulders and say "should have checked the door before you left". Worthless.

Worst U-Haul customer service, every time. Tried to rent an enclosed trailer, was quoted over $80 for same day, in-town use, because they said we had to return it to a different location, and then refuse to say why we have to return it to a different location when we asked. All he said was "Because". This was on Nov. 6, around 12:30. The employee was a young man with a balaclava.
Then we went to another location that was a little further away on Fountain Street, rented the same and closed trailer we were trying to rent originally for $28. And they accepted the return at the same location.
We've been to the Vernon Odom location a few times, and the customer service is always bad -- they're always eating, ALWAYS, no matter what time we come in, and focused on the food that they're eating before helping the customer, talking while they're eating. One time, one of their employees kept trying to ask our friend if she would get together with him for a date, wouldn't take no for an answer.
But today the customer service this was the worst it's been, since this was the first time they tried to rip us off.

I wish I had paid attention to the reviews to prepare myself. Absolute rudest, nastiest people I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Completely ignored my partner when he came up to get our rental, was extremely short and unfriendly to us and hesitant to answer any questions. Told me bluntly "You didn't upload the insurance." when making the rental and doing the pre-check I was never told about uploading insurance. I had to press him for an explanation. When I asked why I needed my insurance when I paid for insurance on the van he told me "they changed it you need both insurances now" and gave us some huge fee. Whatever, thought I was done with it but no, when we got back they locked the door seven minutes early and shrugged at me when I pounded on the door asking for help because there was a huge line and I didn't know where to leave the vehicle. Everyone ignored me until a little old lady came up and begged too, finally explained it to me through a crack in the door and used the excuse "our last pickup is 6:45" when I wasn't picking up anything. They were rude and mean to the other lady too, I found out when I talked to her. I believe the review saying they refused to help a pregnant woman. I had reservations for next week to complete our move but I'm taking it elsewhere, I can't believe the audacity of these people. I don't care that you hate your job, I have had plenty of jobs I hated, but basic human kindness is lacking among the entire staff to an astounding degree. I am not a customer, I am a person, and so are you, so why act like this. Unbelievable.
