I wanted to come back and edit my review after just recently finding out it was possible to edit these reviews on google, lol *blonde moment*. I no longer tan at all so I'm no longer a customer anymore but after alot of other attempts at alternate tanning salones, I've come to the conclusion that this is one of the best in akron. Friendly works, great price, and good beds.

We are incredibly grateful to the amazing team behind University Tan and Spa (who also own NoFilter Salon) for their generosity and heart for giving back to the community. They donated their time and services to help women in treatment for addiction recovery feel beautiful and cared for providing haircuts, styles, nails, and facials completely free of charge. 💙
The impact was truly powerful. Each woman who experienced these services left feeling refreshed, valued, and confident the kind of confidence that radiates from the inside out.
This team of talented, compassionate women shows what it means to make a real difference in people’s lives.

I cannot say enough nice things about brooklynn and her staff. I received an essentials facial. They were attentive, on time, knowledgeable and explained everything she was doing. Highly recommend.

Love the tanning beds here!
If you’re also looking into getting a spray tan I would highly recommend, my spray tan lasted so long and had the perfect bronze.
The staff is also so personable and welcoming.

These people treated my girl absolutely AMAZING. From start to finish, Brooklynn and her team took extra effort to make her look (and feel) like a princess. I can’t express it but the vibe at this Spa is just … different. Could not ask for a better, more professional experience. I got some bonus points for this one, too ;)

I love the vibe. I love the atmosphere nice group of girls The tanning beds are top-tier. I get a nice base color off of one to three visits. There’s so many extras. It’s a really cool place. It’s a hidden gem if you haven’t been check it out there is something for everybody, men and women. I’m thinking of going and getting a facial next.!

Went in for a last-minute spray tan with Brooklyn! She was so sweet and really took her time to make sure I was educated on the process and the aftercare. I greatly appreciate that! She was super informative and helpful and my spray tan came out looking amazing! Thank you to the staff at university tans.

University Tan & Spa is the best in the area! Their airbrush tanning is chef’s kiss perfection—no streaks, no Oompa Loompa vibes, just flawless, sun-kissed skin. 🌴✨
The staff is super friendly and make you feel totally comfortable (because let’s be real, standing more than half-naked in a tent could be awkward 😂). The tan is even, natural, and lasts beautifully—so you don’t have to worry about looking patchy by day three. And bonus: no weird smell and its vegan!
10/10 recommend if you want to glow like a goddess without the UV damage. 🌞🔥

I had my first ever spray tan with Brooklynn four days ago. It still looks amazing!! It was such a nice experience. I definitely will be treating myself again. You should treat yourself too :)
