Would give 0 stars if I could. Was here 30+ minutes before closing. DEFOREST who was the closing clerk on 3/01/2024 was already taking my transaction and then decided he was going to clock out AFTER he handed my label and welcomed me to the counter. After telling him "have a nice day" and assuming there would be someone else coming up right away, there wasn't. After refusing to continue to help me, DEFROREST continued to his closing procedures (pulling furniture behind service desk) rather than taking my one package. This clerk left me at the counter for an additional 30+ minutes after leaving our conversation and transaction. Will be returning to make sure this level of professionalism doesn't continue.

Mail is constantly late, after 5 pm many days. I live in an upstairs apartment and instead of bringing mail up that needs signed for ( since when do we sign for stamps??) they leave notices in the mailbox that no one was home to sign, etc....and I'm standing at the front door watching them deliver the mail. Why should I have to drive clear across town to pick up mail because they were too lazy to climb stairs??? The Informed Delivery shows mail/packages out for delivery each day and numerous times items were never delivered. How much are postal carriers making these days???? Enough to do their jobs correctly!!! Get it together Ellet location!!!!!

what happened to this post office parking lot?? when did the federal post office become the school parking lot??had mail to drop in box was impossible. Went to East Ave instead.Parents are like 3 year olds they can’t understand it’s a parking lot for the post office. They can’t even properly park. I’ve lost faith in humanity. Someone please do something about this issue. Thanks.

Parents are using the post office as a school pickup. Children are punching and kicking and standing on tops of the mailboxes and falling off them.Parents do no care about their children acting like wild animals, almost causing car wrecks in the parking lot and street. This needs to be addressed! This post office needs high security by police due to it being a federal crime to mess with mail!Putting stuff into the mail boxes , trying to stuff themselves into the mailboxes and trying to kick in the mailboxes (Federal Crime) and Parents need to be held 100% responsible for their children’s crimes!.It’s unacceptable!. This is a very nice area and has turned into a horrible environment!. Something needs done!Start keeping logs of the footage from cameras they’re on the mailboxes and parking lot and do what you gotta to keep the safety of the people who are going to the post office and dropping mail in mailboxes. Again, it is a federal crime! To mess with Mail!. Especially destroying property at ANY Post office!.

$200 bucks a year for a po box you can't access. It amazes me that you cannot get into the lobby after business hours. You pay for services like post office boxes but you can't access it except during business hours which is very frustrating if you cannot get to the post office during business hours because I dunno, maybe you have a job or something? There's a gate over the counter the employees bring down at closing so it's secured, yet the entrance doors are locked restricting access to po boxes. It's utterly absurd.

Use this location to ship lots of my packages and never have an issue. Even with the occasional lost package at the sorting facility or special request the counter staff is very helpful throughout the entire issue. I sometimes have to use others with one window and one cranky staff member and then I kick myself and say should've just gone to Ellet.

Worst mail carrier I've ever encountered in 67 years we are on our porch every day waiting for mail carrier scurries by for 27 days in a row not looking our way then today says i have your mail on hold because of baby gate kinda hard to pay biIls when this idiot can't hand us our mail while we are sitting here this carrier is a discrace to the postal service Wedgewood post office Akron Ohio have had ele tric shut off cause he can't hand us our mail

She took the time to explain my shipping options for both of my packages as if I was her only customer of the day, even though there was a line stacking up behind me, and that is an art. Doing their job quickly, efficiently, yet with a down home friendly feel - it's why we love our local post offices, and need them around. Thanks!
