As usual you buy a car me they are super nice to you but once you walk out the door that attitude goes right with you. I purchased a 2019 Subaru Outback. Nice car super low miles but a day or two after I got it home I noticed what looked like a big scrape on the passenger's side door and it felt rough like it needed buffed out. I went back to the dealer and was basically told nothing we can do because you could have done that yourself. It's hard to believe their detail people could have missed this since they detailed the car before I picked it up or since it was so unnoticeable they just left it and figured no one would see it until it was too late. Regardless like I said that what can we do for you attitude goes away as soon as you drive your car off the lot. I will never buy here again. I would return the car if I could.

I cannot express how amazing the service team is at this location. We ran into engine issues driving through the area from out of state. Not only did the service team go the extra mile they went above and beyond to ensure we were kept in the loop through the whole process. I would highly recommend this dealership, their staff are excellent in every sense of the word. 5 stars is not nearly enough.

Just recently completed my first purchase of a Kia product, a black 2024 Seltos with a green interior, yes, I said green, and I love it. My salesman, David Figueroa, did an outstanding job in assisting me through this process. He was respectful and patient with me and did the best he could to represent this dealership in an outstanding manner. I am thankful that I received good, honest help. Service Customers: BEWARE!Purchased 4 new tires from this location September 2022, 5 year / 85k warranty. All was great, 4-5 oil changes through 2023. In July of 2023, they completed an oil change and "full inspection" on the vehicle. They offered an alignment but stated they'd have to keep until next day, and I was leaving for a vacation so I pushed back to my next oil change and they stated that was fine. All inspection notes are marked as green (including tires). Fast forward to October 2023, I notice both of my rear tires are showing wires and leaking air on the inside of the tire, close to the body of the car. Tire warranty wouldn't cover as they stated it was the Dealership's failure to take action MONTHS prior. Keep in mind, they did offer and declined but they stated it was no big deal as the inspection was perfectly fine.I go into the Service Dept, they are aggressively pushing that it falls to me as they offered and I declined. I assure you, I would've completed had they said anything like "Hey, you need to get this done ASAP because your tires are wearing oddly". I ask to speak to the Supervisor - it went from "it'll be a few minutes", to "he's in a meeting, it'll be a few hours". That's okay! I have time today my friend! And then after a while of waiting, "he's actually out for the day". Spectacular. They wouldn't cover anything - I'll keep the representative's name out of this, but he told me plain as day "sometimes we miss things because we inspect the tires when you pull it in, and they don't look when they have the vehicle on the lift". Read that 5 times, and then once more. When you pull in, they turn your wheel over to inspect the front, and maybe the outside of the back tires, which is essentially 60-70% of the real inspection. I paid ~$600 for two tires after paying $1k the year prior, because I drive a lot for work. The bottom line is this: this location will put your vehicle, your family's vehicle, your child's vehicle back on the road without truly taking note of potential issues. This literally could have resulted in me totaling my vehicle and who knows who else's due to negligence on basic inspection and what, saving time? Protect your vehicle, your loved ones and your wallet - find another location to get services completed. They accepted that this could have been / should have been caught in July but took no responsibility and certainly didn't try to make it right; simply "that's tough, good luck". I'm unsure how this is even legal but I have not the time nor the patience to pursue anything past warning other people. Do not take your vehicle here if you value your belongings and your life. I can handle poor customer service, shady leadership in the building avoiding tough conversations, EVEN accepting that this isn't going to be made right - but failure to complete your duties when ultimately we trust business like these to ensure that our vehicles are safe to drive, that I can't do. The one positive mention I have to conclude is; they did shuttle me to and from my house after servicing once more. This was kind. Buyer beware, pay more or less or equal elsewhere and stay safe.

From my salesman, Nico, to Mike Barber, in finance and everyone else and VanDevere. It was a great experience no pressure, upfront and honest in all of their dealings with me. My only regret is that I didn’t buy my earlier cars from VanDevere. I even enjoy going and getting an oil change. Lol it’s a great atmosphere and everyone is always super friendly

Taking my brothers advice, I called my nephew Nico Curtis at VanDevere KIA in Akron Ohio. I asked Nico to set me up with a 2023 KIA Soul. He asked me a few questions about what I would like in the car, and after a very short amount of time we were set. Car, price, warranty, the whole thing. Two days later I got the paperwork in the mail, filled it out and sent it back. (I live in PA). My brother and Nico's father drove it up to me a couple of days later. I'm 65 years old and have driven over 30 cars and some trucks throughout my life. The Kia Soul is the best I've ever driven, by far! Nico is one of the best young men I've ever dealt with. And not just his knowledge and service. But his whole demeanor is very people oriented! Honesty, integrity, Knowledge. More of this is needed in todays world. Thanks Nico, and thank you VanDevere!

Vandevere Kia is not a place you should shop for a new car. My wife and I went there to purchase a new K5 and they tried to gouge us by making us pay 1000 over sticker. The car wasn’t on the lot and they called Ken Ganley of Alliance and they were going to pick up the car there. I called Ken Ganley while we were at the lot and they offered to sell me the car for 300 over Sticker. I will not visit either of these lots. Do not pay over sticker shop around Local Kia dealer sell new cars at sticker in North East Ohio. Shop in Sandusky or North Olmsted.
