I truly don’t have enough words to describe how incredible our wedding day was, and it’s all thanks to our phenomenal venue La Place Events and our amazing coordinator, Orly.
From start to finish, Orly went above and beyond. He was incredibly interactive with our guests, making everyone feel welcome and cared for. He checked in on me constantly throughout the day, making sure I was comfortable, calm, and enjoying every moment. His presence was reassuring and his attention to detail was unmatched, he made everything run flawlessly.
The venue itself was stunning, and the entire team was exceptional. The bar staff were friendly, professional, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly all night. And the food? Absolutely delicious our guests are still raving about it!

“Wonderful place to have showers( I had 3 here so far). 5star. The only negative is the lack of lighting by the sign, name of the signage not updated and lack of lighting in the parking lots. It was pitch black and very hard to navigate especially with winter ice.”
“We hosted our Sober Curious Silent Disco at Elite Banquet and I could not have asked for a better experience. The owner was incredibly accommodating and made everything seamless from start to finish. The space was already prepared and ready for us as soon as we arrived, and she even displayed our flyers on the TV screens which added a special touch to the atmosphere.
The venue was clean, welcoming, and truly supported the vision of our event. My guests had an amazing time and loved the space just as much as I did. I am grateful for the professionalism and hospitality, and I look forward to working with Elite Banquet again.”
“Suzy and her staff couldn’t have done a better job with our wedding. The drinks and food was amazing, the staff was friendly and took care of our guests, and the decorations were better than we could have imagined. Anything I wanted, they executed. I had nothing but compliments and smiles all night long and we are so grateful! Her pricing was the best value overall, it was the most inexpensive but full of quality wedding we could have found on our budget. We will use her venue again in the future!”
“We recently had a rehearsal dinner/welcome party at the Duck Club prior to a family wedding. We were having a hard time finding a venue for our event reached out to the Duck Club a few months prior . Brian could not have been more helpful. Great communication via email, and a few phone conversations. We are not from the area and he made everything easy for us to plan.
The venue is in a great location in downtown Akron. The Duck Club has a great view of the ball park, and the weather allowed us to use the outdoor space as well.
With Brian's assistance we were able to have a slideshow and playlist going before the guests arrived.
Wide variety of food options, Brian helped us fine tune it for our group. They did a great job with the food setup, easy for everyone to grab and find a spot to sit down. All of our guests loved the ball park view.
The staff was very attentive and did a great job the entire evening.
I highly recommend the Duck Club for any kind of event.”

You can tell the team shares great communication from the front to the back, I didn’t have to lift a finger. They were also very accommodating to any changes needed for my party.
