I can understand getting someone else's mail mixed with mine. What I can't understand is how my package was picked up at the Albany, OH post office when I did not pick it up myself or authorize anyone else to pick it up. Yet the tracking number says I picked up the package in person. I want proof that an ID was presented to the Albany, OH post office in order to pick up my small package because I sure didn't present any ID. The package was supposed to be delivered to my mailbox. Thank you Louis DeJoy for making the USPS less than what it used to be. Pretty hard to trust them.

Keep having mail returned undelivered even after filling out a form stating who is allowed to receive mail here and still get mail for individuals not included on said form. What's the point of the form if the post office I'd going to continue delivering/ not delivering whatever they choose anyway?

If I could give no star review I would. This post is the worst customer service wise and delivery. I have never had issues before with the Athens post office when I lived there on a hill. They always refuse to deliver any package that is slightly larger in size. I have called and asked for months as to why and it’s always some excuse every time. We have fixed every issue they have had and still refuse to deliver our mail. I honestly think it’s pure laziness. I’ve tried to call and talk to the post master and he is always rude about it as well. So this is why I wrote a review and will be filing a complaint through the complaint line.

The few times I have came here instead of going to Athens they have been rude, refused some of my packages because they would not get "credit" athens would, would not let me get some priority tape for my priority boxes and now it says on the door that it closes at 5.... I was there at 3:45 and they were locked up and closed. My packages are now going to be late and are completely ruined because of the rain.

I LOVE this post office! Thanks so much to Don who was very helpful in finding out what was going on with a lost parcel.
I highly recommend this post office and it has been one of the most pleasant experiences I have had in speaking with the USPS. Keep up the great work.
