About T.J. Maxx
T.J. Maxx, established in 1977, is the largest off-price retailer in the nation, with over 1,200 stores across 49 states and Puerto Rico. It offers a diverse range of high-quality, brand-name clothing and home goods at great values. While shoppers often enjoy discovering deals on popular brands like Kenneth Cole and Hilfiger, the experience can vary. Many customers find it fun to browse, but some mention that finding specific items can be challenging. The men's clothing section is notably smaller than the women's, which has led to disappointment for those shopping for men’s apparel. Despite this, T.J. Maxx remains a favorite for women’s clothing, particularly for seasonal dresses and home goods. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, spacious stores, and convenient amenities like handicap parking and restrooms. While some feel prices can be high, sales are frequent, making it a worthwhile destination for shoppers looking for variety and value.
