“My man and I visited on February 6 2021. We went to the Spencer's in the mall. It was a good visit other than one attendant that was a lil rude about wearing a mask. I had just lowered my mask to wipe the sweat off and she immediately said something in a rude tone and it was as if she was snapping at me which I didn't deserve.I have noticed they have added new items I have never seen sold there before and it was nice to have another option of a place to purchase these items. (Chakra, spell books, incense tarot cards, sages of all kinds)”
“Very nice shop run by very kind people ❤️ Large great collection, hard to pick only one piece from! Prices are reasonable. The lady gave me a caring card for each piece I bought and extra smaller bags for the pieces that I want to give as gifts ❤️ I will visit them again definitely ❤️”

I noticed a recent review mention the store being messy or crowded—but it’s important to recognize the broader retail landscape. During peak seasons like Ohio’s tax-free shopping period (August 1–14) or the holidays, nearly every store experiences high foot traffic and fast-paced inventory turnover. These are challenges for any retail team, especially in today’s environment where higher wages - lead to staffing constraints, and evolving customer expectations all play a role in operations.
Retail looks different today than it did even just a few years ago, and many stores are doing their best to adapt while still offering quality service and affordability. I appreciate the effort the staff puts in and will definitely continue to shop here! I’ve always had a great experience.”
“It's all about family with this welcoming group of Chico's employees and customers. Warmth, friendliness, efficiency, and fun loving are but a few of the attributes of these women. Courtesy and respect, as well as customer attentiveness when wanted, are paramount. Many varities of well organized clothing and accessories are available as well as petite sizes. Shopping at this Anderson Chico's is a fun, entertaining experience.

“Let's just say, Amanda is AMAZING! Customer Service skills, hands down!! She welcomed me with a smile. I asked her about the Clearance and she told me everything was $2. I about fell over. I go to stores and search clearance items. I work for a Urgent Care and I pay out of my pocket for goodie bags for the kids that are sick. Right now I'm searching for stuff for Christmas. When kids come in my clinic, they are sick and scared. "Goodie bags" gives them motivation to be good and cooperate. At the end of the visit, their whole demeanor changes. The gasp and smile is priceless. To make each child smile and make them feel a little better is worth what I do. No child should be sick. Even the parents appreciate it. So, Amanda is GREAT! She helped ring all my product up. $130. I saved $319. Also, Denise was a sweetheart and helped carry my bags to my car. All around, a great experience! I will definitely be back!! & thank you so much girls for your help and kindness. I'm sure the kids will appreciate it. ?”
“We shop at this location every few months. Employees have always been super friendly. Unfortunately, while we were shopping there today was an absolute karen causing problems. Employees handled the situation very well and did not raise their voices once. Props to them - cause they were doing everything they could.”

“Today I went into the shop looking for something super specific and almost obsolete, devyn went COMPLETELY out of her way to try to help me. After leaving the store I realized I left my card somewhere and called 5 of the ten places we had been today, started to panic thinking someone may have stolen my card . And just as I was calling the sixth I got a text message from this wonderful angel informing me she found my lost card. She was wonderfully helpful, super nice, and very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend you shop here. Great employees, great selection; and they’ll go above and beyond for you. ❤️”
“Fast service, helpful employees.... Not happy all my order wasn't there, couldn't get money for the product that wasn't there and put it back on my card... And we drove over an hour to pickup... Cause I was told they wouldn't mail the product to me... In order to get the savings on the 4 products, we had to drive ..”
“Update: spoke to the manager who was super kind and assured me this is not a typical experience and said that they would make sure this kind of miscommunication doesn’t continue. I imagine working in retail can be a lot some days and that the employee assumed I was being aggressive, hopefully this is a one off experience.
Real mixed bag of an experience when it comes to the employees. The woman working the front desk who appears to be the manager is wildly passive aggressive, but other employees were incredibly very nice and professional. Depending on the moment I either really enjoyed my experience in the store, or was debating starting an argument for how rudely the manager was speaking to both me and the employee.
For example, I asked to take stock of what they bought so I could take it down from Poshmark. The nicer employee offered to help, the manager saw her helping, assumed I was asking for something else (and never bothered confirming or speaking to either of us), ran over and started lecturing the employee and telling me that “if I had a question I should just ask” in a visibly annoyed tone. I’m not sure the last time I’ve ever felt like I was being scolded like a child by a retail employee for just asking to write down something, but it was kind of wild and unnecessary.
Overall the store is clean, styles are decent, and their buy back was reasonable, but sounds like I’m not the only reviewer who has had a less than enjoyable personal experience.”
“Excellent selection of clothing and shoes! I thought I was going to have to shop several stores to find my summer wardrobe but I ended up finding it all here and was very pleased. I was also glad they had 2 fitting room locations in this JCPenney because I came on a Saturday and it was very busy.”
