Change the hours on the damn door if you don't open the same time as your website says. It's almost 10 after your supposed to be open and the doors are still closed.

They need new management, the boss is lazy and unreliable..and punishes her coworkers when she has personal problems (always), dollar general doesn't seem to care because it's DG but eventually they will. Can't be negligent forever.

One of the best locations out there. The store is well organized and easy to shop. Plus the staff are friendly in my opinion, despite some of the other reviews here.

Morning cashier was rude got something on sale showed her and she pulled the sale sticker off even though sale was not over and said it was the wrong item I call bull on that she was not nice at all

Every time I go in there the employees are just flat out rude . Literally every time.Also, what’s the point of saying you open at 8 when everyone I’ve been there they don’t open until 8:10-8:15. And then say sorry I know you have to work .. ridiculous

The first time I came to this location, I witnessed the store manager answer the phone then abruptly hang up several times. Seems she didn't want to bother answering questions. I tried to kindly suggest we all have bad days and she immediately began questioning me on my personal life and "if my job wasn't better than hers I had no right to talk." I was stunned. She said she hated her job and was concerned about 401k and retirement. She was angry and slamming everything down. She then said she had no kids at home depending on her, only to add as I was leaving "what am I saying, I have 2 adopted kids!" How did she forget she has kids? I feel terrible for those chidren and I have no idea why she was even telling me about them.I went to this store on a separate date and asked the employee if the manager was still there. She quietly said yes. I commented how pleasant the atmosphere was without the angry energy of the manager. The employee whispered "everyone says that."Each time I have returned to this location, the manger is the same. Rude to elderly customers and laughing at people while making rude comments about them. The crazy part is, the manger is no beauty queen, and appears to have a weight issue herself. I stopped shopping at this location and would rather drive the 15 minutes out of my way, than be exposed to a crude "manager" that only seeks to challenge and belittle her customers for seemingly no reason at all.

Haven’t been back here in over and year and not shocked to see it’s still one of the worst ran Dollar Generals in the area. There was only one worker in the entire store and the checkout line was long. I bought a gift card and it was a joint gift between a variety of people so I needed a receipt. She didn’t properly activate the gift card initially because my total was way off, then she supposedly did… but I don’t have any paper proof to know for sure because the cashier hadn’t bothered to tell me BEFORE my transaction that her receipt machine was broken. She didn’t tell the women behind me either, and elderly woman who was very confused why her total was wrong. I asked for a manager and she tried to tell me she was the manager… a shift manager maybe, because what kind of manager doesn’t know how to pull up prior transactions on their register. She then said she’d have to “call her boss”, which indicates to me she doesn’t manage squat. She had the audacity to ask WHY I needed a receipt… what a rude question and frankly none of your business. She was extremely rude to the elderly woman behind me and kept calling her “honey” and laughing at her confusion and she was extremely rude to me. She took my name and number but I fully expect to just have to contact corporate in the morning. This store is also a mess in terms of inventory and the aisles are dirty. What an embarrassment.Old review: They need to fix their ramp that’s used for carts and wheelchairs. I slammed a cart into it because it isn’t flush and damaged my leg very badly. Immediately after that I also saw an elderly woman struggling to get her wheelchair up the ramp because it isn’t flush. Really pretty bad.

I go to this store vs the one on Oberlin Ave as you get a real cashier when checking out. They are friendly at this location and some of the items they carry are cheaper than other shopping location in our area

I can never seem to get them to pick up the phone you call and call and call and it rings in till you get a business signal no matter what time of day it is.

They need to fix their ramp that’s used for carts and wheelchairs. I slammed a cart into it because it isn’t flush and damaged my leg very badly. Immediately after that I also saw an elderly woman struggling to get her wheelchair up the ramp because it isn’t flush. Really pretty bad.
