I’ve had Fifth Third for years. I’ve been to this location twice as I just moved to Amherst and both times the same teller was extremely rude to me for no reason. I run my own business so costumer service is extremely important to me. She honestly shouldn’t have this job if she hates the public so much and is so miserable she has to ruin other people’s day by being rude for no reason. The first time I had fraudulent charges on my account, she cut me off mid sentence and told me to “go sit down” and wait for someone else to help me. The guy that did help me was extremely nice and helpful. The 2nd time I went through the drive thru for a simple deposit and the same woman looked at me through the window but decided to walk away and make me wait. When she finally came to acknowledge I was sitting there after 15 minutes she said “do you need something” I said “yeah I just need to make a deposit” and she said “you just need to send the money through” FLAT OUT RUDE FOR NO REASON. I wasn’t going to send $1000 in cash through the pipe without speaking to somebody first or filling out a deposit slip. I wish I got that woman’s name because she should not have a job anymore. If she was my employee and she talked to someone like that she would be FIRED. Rolling her eyes, having an attitude, telling me to sit down like I’m a dog. I never once wrote a bad review but this woman DESERVES IT.

I was a new customer to 5/3rd bank and this location made me highly consider closing my account. The teller was rude, no one was polite here and the environment created by the ride teller felt less and less welcoming but more and more rushed. Atleast she tried to be professional it just came off as cold and dismissive.
I've been to 2 other 5/3 bank locations where the atmosphere, the environment and the tellers were all welcoming and talkative you could tell they like their job but this location specifically and 2 tellers there give me probably the most unwelcoming vibes I've ever been given

RUN!! Fraud surveillance and monitoring is pathetic. Their systems are outdated and employees are half asleep. Worst banking experience EVER.

I am new to them but they have been most courteous and helpful. Thank you to 5th 3rd for keeping the atm open in Vermilion even though the branch closed.

Very slow. Had a woman holding up the entire line for about 15 minutes because she was asking questions on the drive thru about something she should've gone inside for. Will be going to either Lorain or Vermilion here on out.

I have 5 accounts with Fifth Third and I called this branch to ask if they could notarize a document for me. They said yes. My husband and I both took a half day from work just to do this. When we arrived the employee asked what kind of document and I stated it was a document from our mortgage company. She refused to notarize it stating the manager is "weird about mortgage notarizations." I asked why and was given no explanation. She then asked if we could refinance with them and I said not right now so she stopped the conversation. As a sales manager I can easily spot when another sales person refuses to do a customer service action because they aren't making a sale off of me that visit. I have 5 accounts with them but because my mortgage loan isn't through them they wouldn't even notarize a document for me. That's bad business and no way to treat a client of 20yrs. I have had no issue getting documents notarized at other Fifth Third branches. Do better.

Been banking here for years, the staff are always friendly and make sure my needs are met. If you are going to work with a banker, ask for Mary Rudolph. She's very kind and professional.

Horrible experience with 5/3 Amherst mortgage department, I do not recommend at all, Almost 7 months waiting on a loan that they screwed up and now will not deliver on the terms and agreements they advertised. Worse banking institution experience ever, they don’t do what the say and victimize their good customers.

I've been using this bank for years now. Always been treated with kindness and professionalism. I recently got married, and stopped in to get a replacement card with my new last name. When I received it in the mail, it still had my maiden name on the card, which I was not too happy about. I went in and one of the sales members corrected the issue immediately. I was very satisfied with the outcome. I highly recommend this bank.
