I use this Amherst location of Giant Eagle pharmacy due to the convenience of the drive-thru. They have great customer service and get you through the drive-thru fast. The only downfall, which is not the pharmacy's fault, is how the entrance was originally built for that location. It is somewhat of a tight squeeze especially if you drive a full size pickup truck. However, it is very doable to go through the drive-thru. Amazing staff and quick turnaround time. I highly recommend giving this Amherst location a try!

One woman there is rude and extremely argumentive. She insults me every time I go to pick up my prescriptions. What ever happened to good customer service? She even argues with me on the phone!!!I have called and spoke to the manager and she still is extremely mean with an argumentive attitude ?. Thinking about changing pharmacies since even the manager continues to allow her to continue confrontations with customers!!!

Awful, lazy employees. They no longer accept Good Rx, I've personally seen them be mean to elderly customers. Giant Eagle should be ashamed.

They never remember to run my son’s secondary insurance and overcharge me. The drive thru hours are ridiculously short and incongruent with when they’re open in-store which is inconvenient for anyone disabled or with small children. Switching to Meijer, just like I did for groceries.

The service here is terrible. The cashier Lily needs to re-evaluate her attitude. The self weigh machine was not working so it was best to go to the actual register rather than self check out. She then proceeds to say "or you could just weigh it yourself" as if she was speaking to herself. Mind you, the machine was down. She then continues to complain to the bagger on how tired she is working 6 days a week at 48 hours (I guarantee you aren't)... boo hoo hoo Lily. Find a better job and attitude. Just go to self checkout because the cashiers are rude.

The only reason I give them 2 stars is the price. They are understaffed or stoned. If calling up there, expect to be on hold at least 5-10 minutes. They can't find prescriptions. I get notifications that items are ready and when I arrive I'm told they aren't ready. I submit a prescription in the morning and it isn't ready when I go the next day. If it weren't for the price I would go elsewhere.

For the pharmacy. I understand a customer-facing position can be hard but the rudeness of the technicians is astounding. Whomever was working 10/29/20 at the window at 9a was incredibly irritated and rude when I needed to update my insurance. Will be switching to Costco. I have already switched my grocery elsewhere and this was the final nail in the coffin of a once great supermarket.
