When I called, the owner seemed suspicious of me from the beginning of attempting to do business with her. She tried to talk me out of renting a storage unit from her right away but I said I was still interested and she seemed willing but hesitant to do business with me. The next day when talk again, she said decided the fact that I didn't answer my phone only a couple of hours earlier and my area code were sufficient reasons to deny a rental. She treated me as though I was unlikely to be a reliable customer and asked me other questions, such as where I was employed, apparently trying to confirm that her suspicions were accurate. I naturally felt a bit insulted and am glad to be taking my business elsewhere where I'll be treated with respect (and to whomever I do take my business, they will receive on time monthly payments, easy money for them).
