“Best place to shop for groceries. Affordable, open aisles, easy shopping no walking a football field to get groceries, and most of their brands are just as good as name brand. They also have some unique things only found there that I love, like their shimp poppers.”

“this is my favorite asian grocery i have ever been to. they always have exactly the items i am looking for - and more! i especially enjoy their selection of lays flavors from outside the u.s., as well as the ice creams they have in stock year round. they have everything imaginable to put together the perfect meal of several different culinary origins, as well as quick meals that take five minutes to make, like instant ramen and soups. i highly, highly recommend shopping here regularly if you can, since i sadly drive here from the toledo area only once in a while. if i lived in findlay, i'd be shopping here almost weekly!”

“Thank you so much to the older lady at the deli, that took her time to put paper in between the Muenster cheese today! She was outstanding friendly! Last time I went , there was a rude woman acting like I bother her, throwing the cheese slices just to a pile! So glad I gave it another try today.”

“Very friendly place. Food is amazing. Prices are great hard to beat 2.50 for a taco. I ordered 2 deluxe burritos for 21 out the door, and these were amazing.Inside you'll find spices, herbs, and peppers that are hard to cone by in small towns; as well as Mexican candies and drinks.Food is made to order and takes a few minutes, but you can call and order ahead (419-435-Taco) and it'll be ready when you get there.”

“Nice small and easy to get around. They put the sale stuff I was looking for right up front. Reasonable price but the coupons make up for it if your a member. I shop here often and like the service.”

“Always love coming here. County line is my favorite DG store to go to. I wish corporate gave the employees a better opportunity to clean up the store but the employees are all so kind despite the challenges of the job.”

“My favorite grocery store in town to shop consistently because of the value and quality. We've lived here 20 years, and I've seen this store change hands and go through several Kroger renovations. And the latest renovation that increased the specialty and organic foods section was a real benefit. As someone with allergies, they have the largest selection of reasonably priced specialty foods. The deli is good and fresh with an attentive staff. The veggie section is well kept, as is the meat section and most of the aisles. The store is clean- including the women's rest room- consistently. I'm sorry that apparently someone experienced it on a very bad day once. The only area I have had issue with is the dairy section lately, as you need to look at the exp. dates on yogurts, etc. Fresh milk and eggs are all good, and the beer, wine and liquor sections are surprisingly varied. I appreciate the helpful and friendly staff, and with sales and Kroger card discounts, I am able to get more for less than almost any other place- even Wallyworld! Parking can be a bear during busy times because it is a well utilized store, but there is another lot on the east side if you're willing to walk around the front of the store- not a bad walk. All in all, it is the people, prices and quality that keep me coming back here.”

“I love this place. I stumbled upon it while out and about and decided to stop in and check it out. It's a cool farm store, like Tractor Supply Co. but cooler, and on anabolic steroids. They have all the usual stuff like horse feed, tools and clothes. They even had a silo in the middle of the store! How cool is this. They also sell power equipment along with parts. I couldn't even take it all in. I was here because I need 6 foot garden stakes and I didn't really like the selection they had. They only had two bundles of stakes and they were somewhat warped, and I passed on them. No other 6 foot garden stakes available.Overall, place is cool, and staffs super nice. I noticed they were setting up an outdoor garden center, but I didn't have the time or energy to go and look.”

“The cashier/stocker was mindful to keep an eye on the counter while working the floor. As soon as a customer approached the counter she broke away from stocking shelves and helped the customer. It was a quick stop and they had the items I was looking for.”

“It's a big Kroger store, they have everything you need as far as food goes and much more, there is also a liquor area in this Kroger's, as with all Kroger's you can buy food at decent prices they are always having sales, employees were friendly. I have it a 4 because of how big it is. I don't think you can hardly ever get in and out of there fast”

“Customer service AND customers who care. I wish I would’ve thought to call the manager this night to commend their employee & overall environment. A couple of weeks ago, my husband was gone for work. I had all 4 of our girls. 2 had practice in Findlay, I had our babies (2 under 2 ?), I realized we ran out of diapers and it was downpouring. I got the big girls to practice and made the run to Meijer. By the time I got in the building I was soaked, my kids were screaming, and my wrist was throbbing from carrying both… two women ran to me, grabbed my bags, helped with the babies, clipped them in the cart, and just kept telling me they were there to help. When they asked how they can help I just sobbed. I was soaking wet, crying in the entrance of Meijer. I missed my husband. It was the day after my daughter’s 2nd birthday & I was sad I couldn’t do more for her, and too exhausted to do it even if I could. I had to get to a night class after the trip & had no idea who could watch my littles for me. I felt stupid for not knowing I ran out of diapers & for dragging my poor darlings through the rain. In that moment, the Meijer Greeter & the customer behind me showed me such compassion without knowing my Story or batting an eye. I’ll never forget them. I hope they see this. ♥️”

“The best! Even though this location (101 6th St.) doesn’t have a drive through, I think it’s worth it to park your car and go in just to be served by this always friendly, competent staff. I transferred all of my scripts from Walgreens to Kroger when I first moved to the area (‘18) b/c Walgreens kept making the most ridiculous errors (like changing my name in their computer, more than once [?!]), and this pharmacy has never, not ONCE, made an error with my Rxs. BTW Ming is the BEST pharmacist I have ever had, from ANY company, far and away. As far as this location v. other Kroger pharmacies, oy. Don’t even get me started on Kenton. A sh** show! And Tiffin Ave.? Blank stares with your questions; takes days and days to fill something that this pharmacy does in 15 minutes (without you even asking!). One word: GANGBUSTERS!”

“Well organized and clean. Very surprising for a dollar general. They definitely need to keep track of who is covering registers better tho. While waiting for a cashier two young men discussed walking out with things. Luckily the cashier came!”

“I was at my wits end trying to get a phone the manager joanna walked me through the different plans and options and even set my phone up in like 5 min. It's this type of customer service that makes it my store for most everything.”

“The young lady I spoke with found the item I was looking for and took it to the ladies dressing room so when I came into the store I didn't have to look for it. I purchased it. It was perfect and she saved me time. What a kind individual. The other associates in the department where just as nice and very helpful. A great store of associates!”

“This is a family owned and run operation. They have a great number of stores and go to great lengths to ensure price quality and selection. Support your local grocery store as Fresh Encounter 100% supports the communities it serves.”

“I am at this store 2 to 3 times a week. It's smaller, yes, but this town is not a booming Metropolis. Staff is polite, especially the managers who are seemingly LIVING THERE. I love the clearance being in a centralized location for convenience. Yes, lines get long at times, and people who complain about the self checkout cashier "not scanning large items".... should probably figure out what a self checkout is. "Younger" employees, are just that, younger. Life experience is needed for everyone. My only (mild, lame) negative mark, would be not having a fresh seafood counter (again, it's Fostoria.). Great sushi though!”

“We stopped here while passing through town to get some gas and a few supplies. They had a clean bathroom, which was nice! They have a Starbucks located in this store, as well. The aisles were wide and the store was easy to navigate so that I could find what I needed quickly.”

“This is one of three Dollar Generals in Fostoria. I prefer this one as the staff are friendly the store is usually clean and they strive to get items put away within a day or two.”
