I come here multiple times a week most of the time.
The store is always clean, well stocked, and staff is always friendly and available!
But the main reason I wanted to review is to give a shout out to their employee, Cliff!
I came towards the end of the evening to get blue Gatorade. Unfortunately once coming to the register I realized I left my card at home in my purse. While trying to figure out if my phone had Apple Pay, cliff went above and beyond and paid for the Gatorade for me.
What cliff didn’t know is there’s a reason I come to the store so often for Gatorade! It is all my autistic child will drink and she burns through them like gas. I had a long hard day with her when coming to the store and was feeling so down and exhausted, dreading the idea of driving all the way back home to get my card, and that small act of kindness from Cliff turned my day around. He didn’t have to do that but he did!
Great store and employees! The young lady that works there is incredibly sweet too! And cliff I will be back tomorrow with the 8 bucks I now owe you!

I thought I left my phone on the counter when I checked out. When I got home I called them and asked if I left it there and they said they didn't see it. My thoughts went to the worst...... someone took it. I called back up to the store and asked if they could look at the security cameras to see if the person behind me took it. He jumped on the computer to look and see for me and before he could see anything my fiance brought it out of the front door. I never took it with me. Everyone was very nice. Thank you very much for your customer service.

I love to go to dollar general when I need something and I don’t have to drive very far.Btw on Saturdays if you bought something you get discounts over 25$

Staff was very helpful spending time correcting a promotion that didn't ring up correctly. The register process seemed a little excessive to correct an overcharge of $1.35 but that's a corporate issue not the employees. The employees were very patient, cared about getting the transaction right, and taking ownership of running the store. Frankly I would have rather let it go than watching them spend so much time but I appreciate them fixing the problem.

It’s hard for any retail establishment to be perfect. So, i have to score them based on reality. The reality is that their service is better than average USUALLY. Their selection is decent considering the size of their store. Their prices are fair. They try to modernize and upgrade selection and technology at a decent pace.All in all I would say it is a job well done.
