I have been a tennant at Carriage Hill for 3 years now. I can honestly say it is the nicest place I have lived in town. The landlord has always been honest and fair with me. Whenever something needed fixed or needed attention, I could always get ahold of her right away. Once at 2Am when we lost power due to an ice storm. I have always felt safe here aside from 1 time and she took care of that too. (TY) There is a pool in the summer that is looked over and cleaned regularly. And you really cant beat that for the price and location. I can't speak for any one else, but my experience has been a good one. And i would recommend Carriage Hill to anyone looking for a peaceful place to reside. ?

Having lived there for over a year I really enjoyed my stay, had to move because of job transfer and I only hope I can find as nice a place at my next stop. The owner/manager was extremely knowledgeable as well as helpful and the units we looked at where very clean and appealing and I will truly miss living there!

I have lived at Carriage Hill for 5 year as of 2018 and i peraonally feel it is a wonderful place to live. The landlords are wonderful people and FAIR. They do a wonderful job at keeping the Riffraf out of the buildings. & I feel it's one of the safest places to live in ashtabula.I actually just moved out last month to go to flordia & received my deposit back. So it's interesting to see others had a bad experience which leads me to think there is more to the story.

Landlord does not keep her word and does not hold up her end of deals. Money hungry slum lord.

This used to be a great place to live before merredy properties sold to Jacqueline Enterprise. I paid my monthly rent the same way for a whole year. My lease was up on July 26, 2016 so I went on a month to month lease. I continued to pay rent the same way which was half on pay and have the other which I included late fees since rent was due by the 5th of the month. Come January 2017 the owners decided to kick me out in the middle of the winter with 3 kids stating the I had a past due balance of $1500 in late fees, which since I have a BA in mathematics didn't even calculate to be accurate. Once the dish washer leakes all over the floor and water went into the living area and it took 2 days before she came to suck it up with a carpenter cleaner, who cleans went carpet with dirty dish washer water???. No heat was ever felt in the living and dining room but the bathrooms were hot as hell, but there wasn't even a heating vent in the bathroom. Neighbors smoking weed in the next building had the hallways smelling nasty as hell. No issue will ever be addressed. Chose wisely and give your hard earned money to a person who handles their business as property managers.I wouldn't recommend a dog live there let along humans. Poster child for slum Lords.

The owner is horrible. When I moved out I couldn't find him to do the final walk through and he never gave me my security deposit back. He left black mold in my bathroom and when the toilet flooded due to broken parts he took days to fix it. Don't rent from any of his properties! He's a crook

The owner has changed, he doesn't cares about the tenants. He never plows the parking lot in winter, he says he will plow if the snow goes over 4-5". he never reveals his name due the fear of being sued. The manager is a professional Liar, she gives empty promises to get tenants. The owner doesn't returns any security deposits unless forced by the attorney...It used to be a nice place to live in but it has been very bad miserable to live in specially in winter when you have to ski on the parking lot.
