My husband opened an account here with a personal check that cleared through the system super quick almost a month ago. This past Saturday he put a payroll check into his account and was told it would be in his account today. Bank slip even says yesterday's date for when it was deposited. He got an email stating he won't get his check until the 1st of March. We went in today to see if there was anything they could do on the branch level and he was basically told he won't get his check before Thursday. Almost an entire week after he tried to deposit it.

No wonder they have a 2.9 rate! For a bank! Wow. Never enough tellers, several people in line. ATMs always packed. Both of them. And they closed Ashtabula Harbor branch, took away ATM, three miles. Go into lobby, need an appointment to talk to someone, girl says “they are busy”! Two people waiting to see someone! Crazy for a service institution.

Never a manager on site to help with issues. Rude woman on the phone will hang up on you if she had enough of "helping" even if she didn't help at all. The atms never work. The newest atm ate my $300 and kept my card at 1am. There is no help at that time of day so I was forced to block my bank card and drive away. To get any actual help I had to call conneaut branch. This branch needs some serious help.Edit: every week for 3 consecutive weeks there has been an issue when I try to use the atms. I thought atms were supposed to be convenient. Absolutely nothing convenient about a bank that never has an atm working, especially when there are two in the same lot.

This is the worst bank I've ever been to in my entire life. I'm not sure how the service is inside, but both ATMs always have something wrong with them and it's incredibly frustrating. We either can't take money out or we can't put money in. I need to use the ATM daily and this is an issue nearly every single day! Wait the bank replied and told me to report every time the ATM isn't working? I don't have time for that, plus I use the bank when y'all are closed, plus sometimes the ATM already has a handwritten note about it not working. Why not perform routine maintenance instead of having your customers waste more time with your ATMs? Y'all need to just assume the ATMs are broken every day, because that's what I do and I'm almost always right.

Been there 2 times. Both times they weren't able to do the simplest tasks. They don't know what they're doing. Don't know why they're getting paid as much as they do just to sit behind the counter and say they have no idea what they're doing. Really ridiculous

Rude tellerAfter waiting in a very very long line, I was treated like dirt because I wanted to put money in my daughter's account. I'm her guardian. They wouldn't let me because I didn't have her account # on me. I wanted to deposit money, not withdraw. What's the big deal? She was so rude to me I will never go back there. We are moving our money to Erie Bank in Ashtabula Township.

I tried opening an account for my 15 year old so she can learn the importance of saving her money. The greeter said I need an appointment, even though it wasn’t busy in there at all on a Thursday afternoon. So, I tried to be understanding and take care of my own banking and when I tried to cash my daughters savings bond, they said they couldn’t do it because my daughter doesn’t have an account! What a joke. In these trying times, I don’t understand why some people have to make things so difficult!

The staff inside, as well as the drivethrough are friendly and fast. I only gave 4 stars because the ATM never works and its incredibly inconvienient.
