Great folks, patient with new animals. Each animal is different, ours is very anxious and fearful, and the workers/vet all were diligent working with him for exam and for shots, and all went very well for us. I highly recommend them.

I was nervous to take my kitty, Marceline, to a new vet, but she was having itchiness all over and had developed a rash . We decided to go to the Athens Veterinary Clinic, and Dr. Marshall was amazing. He explained the importance of all the vaccines for cats, found an ear infection (which we got antibiotics for), and was so gentle and kind with my baby. All four staff members I met were so kind and helpful. I seriously cannot recommend Dr. Marshall enough. We finally found a great veterinarian!

Everyone is so nice, Bella loves going there:) This was our 2nd time, The vet explained everything on our 1st visit, we saw a vet tech today, she was very nice, it was for the second and last shot and a cytopoint shot:)

Dr. Aanestad is a kind person with a warm personality, and the rest of the staff at the clinic are just as welcoming. They were always transparent with pricing, and they did whatever they could for emergency appointments when necessary. We couldn’t have asked for a better veterinarian in Athens.

We love this vet practice! Our dog has been getting care here for three years, and I should’ve written a review way before now. This caring team has seen Kimi through regular checkups and multiple surgeries and even a dental cleaning. I can’t recommend them highly enough - we even travel from Columbus to continue to go here!

Very, very happy with the surgery results and the prices!! The office staff was kind, compassionate and caring . The Vet and Vet tech were incredibly kind as well!! I will be using them on a regular basis from now on!!

Dr. Aanestad, Maddie, and Caytlin took great care of my cat, Ramon, this morning! The staff was so gentle, kind, and compassionate with him. Dr. Aanestad does a great job of explaining what's going on and how to administer meds, the techs cleaned my cat's ears and restrained him for his shots without scaring him, and they made sure there were no surprises for the cost of service (which was very reasonably priced!!). I even got an estimate for a future dental procedure that included a range of prices based on things that could come up during the procedure, which is so helpful for saving and planning for his future care. I cannot recommend this clinic enough to other pet parents that want to keep their babies healthy and happy!

Been taking my fur babies here for years. They are always there for my pets in an emergency situation and are reasonably priced. I been to a couple different places and this place tops them by a lot. Very friendly & a clean place to take your animals. They care about animals and their well being very much so! Dr Anastad is the best & so is his staff!!

Had a really great experience taking my dogs into this clinic. All the staff were friendly and personable. Dr. Aanestad was amazing, he showed care and compassion and made sure all my questions were answered. This was a great vet experience and highly recommend you take your pets to this practice for their care. Prices are very reasonable too and less expensive than the other vet practice in the area.

Dr. Aanistead and his staff are awesome and really care about your pets. They are reasonably priced especially considering the prices in Columbus.
