I specifically drove all the way to this car wash because it had a self service option and I wanted to get under my wheel wheels and undercarriage well cleaned for the season. There is NO SELF SERVICE wash anymore, but I figured I usually spent $14 or $15 cleaning my car there anyway so I bought the $14 auto wash. Second, most expensive. What a joke it was the fastest auto wash I’ve ever been through and my car is pretty much as dirty as it was before I went through the thing. The whole process took under a minute and it didn’t even get bird poop off my windshield. It was supposed to clean my undercarriage, but I am looking at all of the same junk that was on there before I went through the wash and it didn’t clean my tires at all. Big downgrade at this car wash as far as I’m concerned and I’m sorry to say they’ve lost my business. I will be going to the auto wash on East State Street because at least your car comes out clean for less money there.

I paid for the wash that came with triple foam and it entirely skipped the step and didn’t even fully wash my car. When I got home I noticed that it also ripped off my satellite antenna. Way too expensive, didn’t get my full service, and it’s ending up costing me even more money because of their negligence.

My favorite car wash... I live across the river from Pomeroy Ohio. I literally travel 45m from West Virginia just to clean my vehicle out and run it through the wash. Best car wash for a 50 mile radius in any direction.

Paid for the car wash. Told me to enter. Sprayed soap on my car and then told me to exit and wouldn’t wash my car or anything

Very disappointing, I was so glad to finally get my car washed.. thought I would pay the higher priced came out of the car wash looked at my car the entire back of my car was filthy! Looked like it wasn’t touched!! Dirty Dawg I paid alot less and my car was spotless. Should have got a refund!

Update: Bumping up to 5 stars ...I used this place for the second time and parked in a different spot in the vacuum area, and that's when I noticed the mat cleaner. This is a game changer for me! It brushed all the hair, dirt, sand, and lint off. Some helpful tips: this machine will shock you whenever it's on and you touch it. Not big shocks, but annoying. To avoid this, keep your finger on the switch after flipping it on while you run your mat through until it's done and then switch off. Also, be sure to insert with the dirty side of the mat facing away from you. It won't clean if you face it toward you.
Original: I'm actually surprised ...I usually use Dirty Dawg on State, but they were closed during normal hours for some reason. Came here, which is actually closer to home. No people to brush the car down like at DD, but you spend a lot more time in the wash and I actually feel like this one gets my car cleaner than DD. Wish they had some kind of roof or awning over the vacuum area to protect from the sun/rain, as well as some clips to hold up mats as you vacuum/clean them. Being the same prices as DD, I'd expect at least this. However, I plan on using them from now on. More convenient than going to DD.

Advoid at all costs! They will not make their wrongs right and will only gaslight the customer. They don't have a carpet shampoo machine like advertised. And the parking lot sucks you get stuck in a line for the wash If you happen to pull in. Now whoever Is in charge of typing replys to feedback are you trying to gaslight me with saying you have room to turn around because you definitely don't have room in the back of your lot to turn around especially if the line wraps around the building because your wash bays are always broken. This is hands down the worst car wash in Athens. I can't wait for dirty dogs to open back up so I have a good establishment to do business with.

The automatic wash is nice. I prefer to wash my vehicles myself, though, and the settings for several of the wash cycles didn't work.

I was there on Fathers Day to wash my car. After paying, I entered the carwash and it started spraying soap all over my car then quit working and instructed me to leave as the equipment thought it was finished. I pulled out with my car covered in soap and went to the self wash bay beside it and after putting money in it, that bay didn’t work either.i called the number for the carwash business three times and asked for someone to contact me for a refund and no one will contact me. I had to drive to another carwash to get the soap off my car. If they care so little about their customers, good luck to them. Still a small town.

Use to be the go to place to wash your own vehicle.
Aesome pressure, consistency with products used (soap,spot free rinse).
But not so much anymore.
I have struggled to keep wanting to come back here and patronize this place as nothing seems to work.
Soap is non existent for the last 4 trips in here and the spot free rinse is a waste of time now because it don't work.
The icing on the cake is the last 2 times here the cost counter has been sped up by easily twice as fast as it use to be.
I've cleaned my vehicles here for 8+ yrs and could always do anything from a SUV to a 4 door truck for $10-$12.
Now I can't even get it sprayed off and finished brushed (if the brush soap works) before $10.
Since the cost has went up and the quality has went down it's time seek a alternative self serve wash facility.

Soaked the car with soap....then alarm goes off and everything turns off. Had to go to another carwash and pay the employees to get off dried soap!
