Former pharmacy closed. Pills were due. Staff at CVS expedited my order so there wouldn't be a disruption and walked me through their process.

It took 2 entire weeks to get a scrip filled. I would call and be on hold for 30mins to an hour waiting on someone to pickup each time I called to check on it. They kept saying they hadn't received it and that I needed my Dr office to resend it. I got copies of confirmations from my Dr office of fax. Finally I got the pharmacist on the phone and he located it "in a stack of scrips that haven't been processed yet" and had it ready within a few hours.

NEVER answer their phone, have the RUDEST employees, and NEVER have prescriptions ready even if you wait HOURS after it has been called into them. It's absolutely ridiculous how they are incapable of doing their jobs they get paid to do. They even send you texts saying you have prescriptions ready then when you go to pick them up surprise they aren't ready and don't know what you are talking about. This establishment is awful.

There are many other options in Athens, OH of pharmacies, do yourself a favor and choose another. The person in front of me was expecting 3 scripts filled, got 2 has to return for the 3rd. The person behind me got part one of his prescriptions and had to wait on the other. My prescription was wrong for the 3rd time. When I pointed out the error was on their part, I was blown off. AND I still did not receive the number of pills the doctor (oncologist) had written the prescription for. I was told I could come back next week.Wrong number of pills 3 times in a row, and terrible customer service. I am not returning and recommend others also choose another pharmacy.

Everything is great about CVS except for their pharmacy!! The ones I use, the workers are so rude and act like they just hate being there.

I’m sure this won’t be taken seriously, but whoever runs this specific CVS - you need to really re-evaluate your employees, especially those running the pharmacy. I shouldn’t get the window shut in my face when asking a question. I also shouldn’t be constantly spoken over and interrupted. Any questions for the pharmacist? Oh wait, we don’t care, let me just slam this window in your face and not even tell you to have a good day. Seriously? Find some people with some common decency. Every single time I come through I end up dealing with someone rude. Having a bad day? Don’t take it out on people who are trying to be nice to you. That is all. Clean house. Hire nicer people.

This place is a disaster. Out of the past five visits I have yet to just walk in to the pharmacy and Walk out with a simple vaccination or prescription, which I place online ahead of time. You have to ask about coupons, to get a fair price, you have to come back because your stuff is not ready. The people at the pharmacy are friendly and helpful but are super busy, probably understaffed. This time CVS struggled with the insurance company copay which is an unreasonable $100 for the RSV vaccination. Between the blue Cross copay and the normal chaos here, it was challenging.

Although I've used this pharmacy for several years because of convenience, I decided to go elsewhere today. My dentist called in a prescription and I went to pick it up after two hours (they are slow filling prescriptions) and was told they never received the prescription. I was there when the office called it in and then was present when the dental office called to see if it was ready (not yet). Anyway, I called the dental office and had them call in the prescription to another pharmacy, Shrivers. This pharmacy had it ready in 15 minutes. Goodbye, CVS.

I went to this particular cvs pharmacy 8 yrs ago. And wow, it's really gone down hill! I just had some scripts transferred and after 5 days I'm still missing a theraputic dose of a mood stabilizer, antidepressant medication and my diabetic medicine.This pharmacy will eventually kill someone because they are the worst and don't know what they're doing.It just needs shut down. It's a hazard to people's actual health. You don't play games with much needed medicationToday I was on hold for over 20min.I called the main customer service and filed a complaint.Who is running this Garbage pharmacy?I say boycott this place. Before they kill a customer.Do not go here ever. I'm looking for another place after only 5 days.They really just need sued.

Rudest, most incompetent, unknowable group of unprofessionals you’ll ever deal with. I won’t go on about my 69 year old mothers horror story with these folks. Just thankful she has 4 competent and intelligent daughters to advocate for her, all 4 of which have backgrounds in healthcare; from Registered Nurse/Airline Pilot, Physicians Assistant, Phycologist/IT Advisor, and Surgeon. To those that don’t have family members to advocate for you, beware, please go somewhere else!

For some reason, 95% of the time I have to physically show up to ask where my Adderall is. Usually they type on a computer for a bit and are “oh yeah, when do you want it?” Now that there’s a shortage of it, they can’t even bother to let you know they’re out of it. They’d be perfectly content to let you go months without it as opposed to letting you know they’re out. Also, they never answer the phone. Go to Holzer instead.

It has been my experience that the pharmacy is not very helpful. One of the younger male pharmacists acts like he don't understand the male anatomy very well. His advice and recommendation was a bit absurd. In fact I wonder if he was trying to be a wise guy. Either way it was not helpful. He made the effort to come out from behind the counter, so for that I'll give him 2 stars. Not impressed with the level of service or care.

I am now waking up to day 2 of my back and shoulder being extremely messed up because the cashier was completely incapable of her basic task. Holding a toddler for what should be a 2 minute situation for instead 30 minutes most likely. 20 minutes at the least. I live nearby but I will never set foot in here again. Ever. Jobs are scarce and I'm not usually harsh but I don't know if it's worth having that girl work there. Good luck to y'all.
