Was just there today and I bought us 4 rugs. I've been looking for some decent rugs at a good price for the last couple of months. All staff were an awesome help and they helped me load them into my car. I come here often and I find the best deals around. 5 out of 5 stars from me.

Response to the owner’s comments to my daughters Cindy review- Warning-The information she posted was correct. Me and my husband was there. You are insinuating my daughter put those stickers on the items- ??100% NOT AT ALL !!The 2 cups she picked up has an orange sticker on them when she showed me. $2.00 for each cup. ( Not a Set) like you wrote. She did not know the 2 cups were uranium glass, she collects green glassware. She had every right to be upset !You specifically stated to her “ a new employee priced them and put them out.”My husband was right there. She did not start pacing, she was looking for me in the store, her father had already went out to the car after the incident took place. I put everything I had down and we left. We did NOT purchase a single item.Yes, he did explained it to her but she was mad. She was ready to check out when the incident took place. You were the one that took the2 cups and took off to the back of the store still blabbing. So stuff that is donated you pick through and keep? You said in your response to my daughter -(“ stuff accidentally makes it way to the sales floor that’s not suppose to be there?”)Shouldn’t everything that is donated worth selling make its way to the floor to be sold?People donate stuff to be sold in your store to help the community- so you keep what you want for yourself ? Do you re-sale the item and keep the money for yourself also? She didn’t leave yelling either. As you were walking away yelling “she responsible to what you said with “whatever”So why should people continue to donate items in good faith thinking they are going to be sold to help the community when you seem to be helping yourself. She said she told you she was leaving a bad review and she did.

First and last time ever going there to shop!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!!Went to check out a very very rude guy employee came up and took glasses I picked up off the shelf to buy. I said “I am buying those, I got them off the shelf” he said NO your not !! He refused to give them back and sell them to me.He also said they were not suppose to be put out ? He was blaming another employee. How can an employee take your items you picked up to purchase and refuse to give them back ??They were on the shelf and clearly priced !!!!Guess he wanted them for himself.People donate those items for free for people to buy to help out others.SO I ENCOURAGE ALL FROM NOW ON TO DONATE TO INDIPENDENT SMALL THRIFT STORES.I am sure they have better customer appreciation, gratitude, and service to the public than at the Athens habitat re-store.

Over priced items. Won't work you on any deals or multiple items. Won't be back. It's a joke.

This Habitat prices the used items they've received for free as though they're all brand new and top of the line, even when something is broken and in need of repair. It disgusts me how much they price gouge and take advantage of the community here in Athens, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Never know for sure what they will have. Can find some really good buys here. Worth a stop in.

Affordable prices, friendly staff. Contractors and handymen should always stop here before going to Home Depot or Lowe's. The materials are affordable and you can always find something interesting. The cashier was beyond friendly today. Good furniture options as well. It's also comforting to know your dollars are going to a good cause.

OVERPRICED!!! y’all get free donations and plenty of checks as you’ve hung them all over the walls. Quiet inhumane, if your really looking for a bargain please check out dollar spree in Marietta Ohio. Clothes, kitchen, furniture, nick nacks, literally everything is $1. Because the point of a store like this IS TO HELP PEOPLE. Not take every penny you can.

I’ve been shopping at this ReStore for years and have gotten a lot of stuff there. But after my experience today I am done with them. I bought a gas stove marked “tested” and gave away my old stove (it worked but had cosmetic issues). I had to get rid of my old stove to make room for the new one. I hired movers to bring the new stove from ReStore into my kitchen. I paid them $70 and was happily cleaning up the new stove. But the smell of gas kept wafting over me. The nice mover came back and re-checked the pipe and connections he had installed. No leaks were found. But the gas smell persisted. ReStore said they would come get the stove and reimburse me for the stove, but too bad about the $70 I lost. Then it emerged that they didn’t actually test the stove, they only plugged in the cord to the clock on the stove. So now i have no stove and I’ve lost $70. Why couldn’t ReStore meet me part way, like call an appliance guy to see if it could be fixed, or pay me half of what I lost? Nope, nothing. They are not out anything because that stove was donated. I the customer am really in a bind now. I mean i shop at ReStore for an economic reason. I’m upset they sold it to me untested (though marked “tested”) and then left me in a bad position with no stove and out $70. Nice. Not.

They don't offer delivery, and their prices are atrocious considering they have "humanity" in the name. Go to New To You instead
