“An antique book buyers paradise. Lots of books on history of all kinds and classics. Some newer book selections, old calendars and small signs. See nice antique glassware, jewelry and furniture, tho the rooms are not packed to the gills. Worth a stop for that unusual find. Shop sits back off Rt. 306.”

“I came to “Past Meets Present” expecting an antique store, that’s what Google maps said they would be. They are not that at all, but I don’t think they’re trying to be. I would classify it more their store as a bespoke, luxury boutique, catering almost to the “old money” aesthetic. I may not be using the correct words to describe this aesthetic, I am not the target demographic and I am not “in” on what terms would be used. But their aesthetic is clearly very curated, as are the items they sell.
The collection reminds me of my grandmother, it is warm and makes me happy in that way. But it is also very disconnected from how I would choose to style myself or what I choose to buy. “Past Meets Present” is not for everyone, but it is very well suited for those that would enjoy it”
