“Great place, great staff. Clean, inviting. Good recommendations on local places to eat and see. Staff is not only friendly with me but anyone else staying here. If there was an issue they would be sure to fix it right away and accommodatingly Would drive extra to stay here vs a closer hotel. Pet friendly. Nice pool, good breakfast. Room cleaning every other night. 2 ev charges behind pool.Rooms: Always clean and up kept.Safety: Great staff. No issues.Walkability: Multiple food spots within walking distance.”

“What a quaint, well maintained motel! The room was clean and comfortable. The little window unit a/c was a great source of white noise to keep the "new bed" issues from being a problem. The man at check in was friendly and helpful. You can tell that this motel is loved by its owners and a source of pride. Well done!”

“We visited the 2nd weekend in October, so off season and got a really good rate for the Jr Suite in the motel portion. Check in was challenging because I never received the instructional email for the self check in process but we did have a gentleman assist us pretty quickly and the modern door access is easy and impressive. The rooms were clean and the A/C - heater unit is current and functional. The facility itself has not been updated in quite some time and is showing it's age and wear. There's a certain vintage charm to the sink stove combo unit and the burner I used to heat up some apple cider functions well and again - it's clean. It was nice to have the kitchenette. The main bed is comfortable although certainly not very fancy and placed in a strange way on a 2×4 frame very close to 1 wall. I didn't open the sofabed but it again is clean and appears to be in order. There was plenty of hot water and great water pressure so we enjoyed our showers plus they provided shampoo and conditioner and soap for both of us! Towels are pretty small. The beach is relatively small and it's a long steep staircase to get there. There's quite a bit of washed up garbage on the beach but again this is late in the year so I can't speak to it's normal state. This is a really nice location for people or families who want to get a good place right on Lake Erie but don't want to break the bank. It seems like management is working on making improvements and have started with the necessities. Parking is a challenge and I would not recommend this place for people with mobility challenges. We enjoyed our 1 night stay - Thank you!!!”

“Clean, affordable, comfy beds, personable staff. What more could you want for an overnight break from the road?!? Microwave & mini fridge--no coffee machine, but it's sandwiched between 2 convenience stores, so there was hot brew very easily accessible.”
