Biomat USA, part of the Grifols Network of Plasma Donation Centers, is dedicated to donor safety and high-quality plasma. It collects plasma to develop life-saving therapies. Donors are paid for their time, ensuring safety and comfort. Many donors report positive experiences, describing the staff as friendly, helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The location is consistently noted as being very clean and proficient. Donors feel greeted with a smile and appreciate that the process is often painless, leading them to state they will never go to another center. The experience is frequently described as great, with donors often in and out efficiently. However, some donors have experienced significant inconsistencies. While some previously enjoyed smooth, hour-long visits, others now report a process that has become a mess following system changes. Issues include frequent disqualifications for pulse or protein levels, kiosk malfunctions that exit donors, and long wait times only to be turned away. These operational challenges, combined with limited hours that complicate scheduling, have led to frustration for some regular donors, with mentions of wasted trips and inconvenient travel. Despite these reported procedural issues, the center maintains a core of donors who praise its professional and friendly environment.
My main concern about the center is there isn’t a lot of employees working in austintown center which makes for longer waiting time not to mention the stress of being overworked I hope yall will hire more employees thank you for your time
