“There are so many different types of candy selections! There is literally something for everybody. I have brought in three or four different people just to take a look around because they don't live in the area. It's an experience not a store. There's definitely bound to be something that brings back a childhood memory in this place. Whether it's a T-shirt, a boardgame, or a favorite drink or candy it's probably in here. This is definitely a place to check out for anyone and everyone!”
“Someone offered me popcorn while at the YBI. Coming from Chicago, I was skeptical if anything was better than Garrett’s high end stuff. Big Dipper’s peanut butter popcorn blew my mind - it’s made right here in Youngstown and is absolutely delicious. It’s like nothing I’ve ever tried. It’s the best popcorn I’ve had in my adult life. This stuff should be famous state wide.”

“The BEST chocolate I've ever tasted. I won't waste my time with cheap chocolate anymore. Nothing compares to Philadelphia milk chocolate. Sometimes the servers are not very friendly or welcoming rather. Waiting for the FRESH chocolate covered strawberries they are the BEST!”

“We were visiting the area from North Carolina. We had a delightful experience at this store. We met the owner; and he and the staff were so nice and friendly.
We purchased approximately $80 worth of chocolate and other treats. Everything we purchased was amazingly flavorful. We really loved it and would highly recommend.”
“Variety of candy selections and some harder to find things. Fair prices. They also serve beverages that people were purchasing. We didn't get a drink but the staff was friendly when we made our candy purchase.”
“Very nice staff, they didn't have what I was looking for so she went in the back and put a pound of chocolates together for me. The only reason for not giving a 5 star was pricing, 30 dollars for a pound of chocolates. That is in my opinion high.”

“The store was beautiful and the customer service was excellent and friendly. However, I noticed the truffles I bought were smaller than they used to be and the shell thicker. Also, the filling was scant compared to what they had been. But they were delicious. Gorants still make the best tasting chocolate anywhere.”
