What can I say its the Home Depot. Been to a lot of Home Depots from the Washington State, Oregon, California all the way to Pennsylvania. I always feel a rush of excitement when I go through the front doors. Some will know what I mean. For the most part I go into lowes I dont get that welcome feeling or excitement its just different. I cant wait until my son is older and can appreciate it with me.

Store Review: Home Depot in Austintown ?? 4.5 stars!I feel compelled to share my experience at the Home Depot in Austintown. As a loyal customer, I believe that my business is aligned with a higher power, guiding me to this particular location. Overall, I have had positive encounters with about 90% of the employees who are genuinely pleasant and happy to assist regardless of your appearance. The friendly atmosphere and the camaraderie among the staff create a welcoming environment. I appreciate that I never feel rushed when I visit this store. ??However, I would like to address two individuals who have left a less positive impression on me. The first is an employee who works in the paint center. I have noticed that she seldom speaks and appears disinterested in helping customers. When I ask for assistance, she usually just walks away without a word, leaving me unsure if she understood my request. I find her demeanor to be cold and unhelpful. It has reached the point where I dread encountering her at the paint counter. To minimize interaction, I have learned to simply state the paint I need, say thank you, and return within 20 minutes. This lack of engagement and customer service is disappointing and does not align with the otherwise positive experience I have at Home Depot. ???The second employee I would like to mention is Emilia, who works in the carpet department. On one visit, I was browsing carpet options for nearly an hour while three employees nearby seemed to avoid making eye contact and neglected to help me. After waiting for nearly 58 minutes, I approached them and asked if they could assist me, as it was their department. Emilia reluctantly got up from her conversation with a coworker and seemed put off by my request. I explained that I wanted to understand the process of installing new carpet and gather more information about the different options available. While she reluctantly provided some information, her sharp tone and attitude were evident. As we both tried to remain civil, the interaction left a sour taste in my mouth. Interestingly, I never paid for the printout of 35.00 I received during that visit as I completely forgot to do so at the checkout. This was due to being caught up in my frustration with Emilia and her coworker's lack of attentiveness that evening. ??️Two weeks later, I returned to the store to revisit the carpet department and reschedule a measurement. On this midday visit, I was approached by a young man who asked if I needed assistance. Although I explained that I just needed a few minutes, he kindly informed me to visit the desk when ready. After the 15 minutes passed, I made my way to the desk, where I encountered Emilia again. Regrettably, her attitude and sharpness remained consistent, even though she didn't recall me from our previous interaction. It was disheartening to see that her demeanor had not changed and that her attitude still impacted her customer service. The experience with Emilia and the other employee nearly pushed me to consider getting my carpet done elsewhere. However, as my faith guides me to Home Depot for my big ideas and house projects, I decided to stick with them. ??️Although it's unrealistic to expect every employee to be perfect, I believe that these two individuals stand out in the department because of their negative attitudes. I strongly encourage them to reflect on their demeanor and consider how it may affect others. By adjusting their attitudes, they might see customers in a new light and have a more positive impact on their overall experience. It is essential to remember that customer service plays a significant role in how customers perceive a company. ??Although it's unrealistic to expect every employee to be perfect, I believe that these two individuals stand out in the department because of their negative attitudes. The Store overall is a great store to come to. It is important for us to stay humble and remember that as customers, we choose to invest our hard-earned money there by choice.Epiphany D.C Queen

I deliver for multiple apps so I visit a lot of stores and restaurants but don't actually dive into shopping or eating. That being said, the staff here are friendly and seem like they'd be helpful if you have any questions while shopping.

I placed a order with them and FedEx delivered the item to a house not to the store like they was supposed to so they had to reorder it and when the order finally came in the lady Peggy from customer service desk called me and left a message on my voice mail very rude telling me I need to pick up my order or she is sending it back, and the email I got said the order would be in on Jan 22 and she called on Jan 22 and now my online account is gone because someone deleted me from their website. And each time I try to create new one it keeps telling me to use a valid email and I've been using the same email for over 10 years so they must have blocked my email

I needed help today. I’d rather be in Macys or Michael’s. I not a hardware girl, at all.I want to thank Lou for getting me out of there fast. Haha. He knew exactly what I needed, walked me to that aisle, explained everything and was so nice! Just a great employee. He is worth his weight in gold, bosses!
