The deli lady I had today didn’t seem to understand the idea of half a pound of turkey sliced thick. She made two slices equal 1/2 lb. I told her I would like it less than half that thick. She insisted that I had to take the first two slices because they were already cut. This is not the first time I’ve encountered rudeness and ignorance at their deli. The cashier at checkout was an older lady and acted like everything was a big deal including greeting me and saying thank you-her tone was not friendly and she frowned the whole time! I’ve decided to go back to Meijer; they are so nice and helpful and seem to enjoy their work! Lots of smiles at Meijer!

The power was out TWO WEEKS AGO and theystill have a empty (completely) freezer section. The deli hours keep changing. I don't fault them for the rising costs but a supermarket with NO frozen food for WEEKS is simply inexcusable. The employees are friendly for the most part. It is a clean place, with good lighting.

Thank you for adopting a mask mandate and helping us all stay safe. Good food. Good service. Good science!

Cost doesn't equal quality. Great pharmacy. Groceries... Bring your time and check book.

I called pharmacy the end of September to refill Rx or transfer before October move. I was told they aren't eligible for refill until 11/1/20. I called 11/11/20 to find out what happened to my Rx. I was told by pharmacist they expired on 10/23/20 and then she became nasty when I explained previous conversation with pharmacy tech. I now have to do virtual visit with MD and pay for that visit. Run don't walk away from Giant Eagle/Avon Lake!

I've been coming to them since way before their stupid remodel (all the profit centers up front at the expense of too narrow food aisles). My camel-breaking straw is they gave me a pill box I (and 4 other people) couldn't open. When I went to have them open it the next morning(thinking it might be me), they were pacifying a woman who had problems with "pushing the wrong button" (said the pharmacist). When they couldn't get the bottle open either, they said it was the second one from corporate and really glossed over it. I said it was an issue of safety, what if I had really needed that med and could not open it? Thank God I plan my medicines ahead and or I would have missed a critical dose. They really do not care. Stay away from this pharmacy. They don't sell anything right!
