The 4th of July fireworks display was always the best at Weiss. Awesome finale.

The ground is torn up and the playground has seen better days. Plus it’s where some adult activities take place which was uncomfortable with a little one.

We had an amazing experience at Weiss Field while watching my son and his team, IVL, play a scrimmage here—and I can confidently say this field is a gem in the community!
From the moment we arrived, the park felt clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The diamonds are in great shape with quality fencing and dugouts, and the layout makes it easy for parents to get a good view of the action. Whether you’re behind the plate or walking around, there’s plenty of room to cheer on your team without feeling crowded.
What really stood out was the positive atmosphere—friendly coaches, respectful teams, and supportive families all around. Even during a scrimmage, the energy was high, the competition was fun, and the kids were clearly having a blast. My son loved every second of it, and it was awesome seeing him light up on the field doing what he loves.
Parking was easy, and the facilities (including restrooms and concessions) were clean and conveniently located. It’s the kind of place where you feel safe and comfortable bringing the whole family for a full day of baseball.
If you’re a local team, a visiting club, or just looking to catch a youth game, Weiss Field is a top-notch choice. We’re looking forward to coming back soon—go IVL!

Not a very exciting playground. Needs to be updated badly.

Great for small children! They have baby swings and equipment that is easily accessible to adults to climb for their little ones.

The park is nice but the restrooms feel like they are miles away from the center.

Excellent playground and dog park. Covered picnic, tons of space to explore, fairly kept potties and water fountains. I don't want to drop a star but, the skate park needs love. Lot of rust and jagged edges and general aging decay. I see traffic on it every time I'm around, so it's worth it.Playground: Excellent condition. Unique "roller slide". Zip line, climbing ropes, infant swings. No big kid/adult swings though.

Weiss Field was donated by my father’s parents decades ago. It has been developed and maintained beautifully.
