Called for a new patient visit. Was asked for an $80 deposit to lock in the appointment? Have never had a request for an appointment deposit from a vet. This tells me they are more about the money than 1. Getting new business 2. the welfare of animals.

This hospital used to be a good place to take your pet. Ever since the "Original" owner sold the business to the 2 woman Vets he had under his employment. Aprox 3 or 4 yrs ago) The new owners no longer care about your pets, all they want is more money. They see dollar signs when you enter their establishment. I had a pet with Diabetes. They charged me over $500 for the diagnosis. Then at my expence I purchased Libre 3 sensors to monitor the Glucose. The Dr. Poling, who supposedly cares and wanted to save me money, charged me $60 to look down at her celphone for 2 seconds to see the data "I" was providing for her for free, I might add. The vet, Dr. Anita Poling, had instructed me on how to mix insulin. The instructions were wrong, for two months I was giving her incorrect gloucose readings because of the unmixed insulin. When I told her about her mistake, suppoedly caring about my pet, she told me to find another vet and handed me my dog's records. That shows you how much they actually care. They make a mistake and cannot admit it. All they want is money, they do not give a hoot about you or your pet. Would you want a doctor taking cafe of "YOU" like that ? Doubtful !

If I could give Dr. Olive negative stars I would. She is the least caring vet I have ever met. She misdiagnosed my little dog, gave her unnecessary meds that made her very sick, refused to do blood work and see her again when she was sick from an injection they gave her. I ended up taking her to a vet hospital where she was properly cared for. She ended up in acute kidney failure because of Dr. Olive's negligence. She is still in ICU and I will be contacting an attorney. I have never seen any vet care so little for their patients.

Kind and helpful people, knowledgeable vet. It can be difficult finding a rabbit (exotic animal) vet so we travel a bit for her.

I was visiting from out of town when my diabetic Miniature Schnauzer got sick. I took him to Avon Animal & Bird Hospital who were gentle and caring with our little Cody and myself. I recently moved back to Elyria and intend on taking our Jake there.

I've been going to this practice with my dogs since 2008. Dr. Poling and Olive care deeply about your dogs health. I can't recommend this practice enough.

Very disappointed and angry!! I called to tell them I was going to be 5 minutes late and was told I would have to reschedule. Can't tell you how many times I've had to wait for vet. Appointments and anytime I've ran a little late I never had reschedule. My poor boy needed to be sedated for his nails and now I have to wait till the end of September. Will not be going back. So frustrated right now.

Our puppy Gizmo just had his first visit. Very attentive and loving team. He got his first shot while having some cheese on a pretzel stick so he barely noticed. He even got a new squeaky toy that he loves. Look forward to having the team as our vets for a long time

Doc P is the real deal! He helped our family through the hardest illness with our pet and always told us the truth. He answered calls at 9 in the evening. Left messages with details and referred us out as needed. He is truly the definition of animal care! Bless you Doc!
