“I love this store for its large selections. The cleanliness of the store is pretty decent also. It only lost a star because as I was waiting in line, an employee acted like I didn't exist. Then a lady rudely walks passed me, gets to the register, and says... I don't know what he was doing. Well, first of all... She wasn't directly at the register. I didn't know if she was taking customers at all. As someone who was new there, I didn't know the proper protocols because at most places you don't approach the register unless asked. Not really a huge deal but a few employees can at least be known to acknowledge the customer.”
“Went last night for a quick cocktail inside with the husband. Came here to write this review specifically for the barmaid. This gal ran a full bar, served food, cleaned up after the patrons, and serviced the drive thru (approx 5-10 cars)in the 35min we were there. On. her. own! Great job!! Of note- add tip before they run your card at cash out, we had cash so it ended up not being an issue, but good to know.”
“I'm also in there everyday of the week and it always smells like someone just recently shot their pants. It's a lovely Post Office but make sure that you bring your mask with you to cover up the nasty snow but always seems to be lingering behind. Sometimes it's so strong it makes me want to throw up.”
“Good collection. They have blue label as well. Friendly staff.2023 Update: They continue to have great collection, friendly courteous staff and the shop has a nice laid back feel. I wish bourbon hunters gave the staff much needed respite on the Ohio allocation days but even then the staff maintain great decorum and are very accommodating.”

“I have always received the best customer service there and all the girls are exceptional. They take the time to get to know all their customers. I have requested certain products to be ordered in and without fail they were ordered and in stock. Wide selection of beers/ wine waters & sodas. Very large selection of instant lottery tickets I have ever seen. If I were to complain it would be that they are so busy. And that really isn't a complaint. That just means they give great customer service and have repeat customers.”

“I Work at biddulph plaza giant eagle went here because they carry dryed aged beef. Jeff and Eric in the meat department were super courteous and helpful. Never had dry aged before and they were super knowledgeable and told me and my brother everything we needed to know even the process of dry aging beef! Jeff and Eric are a couple of good salesmen too they talked us into getting the aged tomahawk steaks and let me tell you it was worth the money! Can't wait to stop in and see them again and definitely buy more dry aged.”

I work late so at times I have been there 10 min before closing and never rushed. Although I am respectful and quickly get what I need and make it to the checkout with time to spare. Other stores are locking their doors and telling you to hurry on their loudspeaker when there is 30 till close. Talk about giving people anxiety.
Like all shopping you must DYOR. Some items can be more expensive and some cheaper.
Everything went up price wise, thanks to inflation, your buddies you voted for and minimum wage hike but @ Save-a-lot you still find a lot of food on the cheap.
I did have to quit A1 sauce because it's not cheap anywhere ($7 a bottle!).
There are tips:
Everyone should be onto the tube ground meat by now. You get 50% less meat and you are straining the rest (grease/fat/$) out. (hopefully not down your drain!)
Same with some frozen beef/filler patties when compare to others. They will be on fire ? in seconds, dripping grease,, nearly impossible to grill and not burn.
Buy the fresh ground meat and spend a little more and you will get more.
Test it out yourself: make idk... beef stroganoff or ?. Brown 2lb fresh and 2lb of tube beef.
You get coupons with your receipts sometimes, so use them.
The fresh chicken wings are always cheaper than others but...be careful they always seem to have access blood that will leak out the clear wrapper in your car if not careful ?. It happens everywhere tho, something like a phenomenon. It is the no bag thing that can be more noticeable. This Save-a-lot is a bonus here. You can wash your reusable bags if it does leak. Giant Eagle bags can not save you from the leak either, so dont try a 1-up on my post.?
I take them home, wash them re wrap and take out fridge next day and there is chicken fluid again. Maybe they keep the chickens hydrated ?.

My only I wish ?is if you could please cut your steaks to a butchers proper 1- 1/2 inch thickness (at least 1in). ?
Nothing pains me more than a thin overcooked steak or a thin medium rare steak and hot coals leftover. Charcoal isn't cheap. It is by weight and I have been in the store with another thick steak hunter going through the packaged meats to find the thickest of the bunch. Staring eye to eye at each other and eachothers gone through stash, hoping they missed one close enough to the specs your looking for. Ready to pounce on that thick porterhouse before the other customer can see what you just uncovered from the corner of their eye and snatch it from the pile. The steak warz are real.?”
“I'm a Closeout Employee/specialist at this Marc’s location. I enjoy the people who I work with and some of the nicest customers although I've came across some rude customers as well. Just to name a few including the Moms that don't take control of their own kids in the store. Working with Marc’s Westlake always has its ups and downs. But I especially like getting a few closeout items to take home on my breaks. I love the location and I love being apart of the Marc’s family.”
