I thought the event was conveniently located and well run. They were as efficient as they could possibly be with the number of people that came and all the staff were very polite, It was a bit of a wait but evidently another PetSmart had to staff it and they had to drive from Columbus first thing in the early morning. I appreciated the opportunity to get this done since I had short notice to do so.

Ryan at the Avon, OH Petco was incredibly knowledgable & helpful. He went above & beyond to educate & empower us to care for our new fish, helping us select a best fish for our daughter, proper tank, food, etc. Who knew fish needed so much love & special considerations when getting a tank properly set up. We are now confident in knowing how to support our fish's well-being. Thanks again! We'll be back!

Petco has the worst website ever!!! Can;t get into my account. I am on the verge of using either Pet Smart and or Pet Supplies Plus. both are just as convenient to use without the headaches trying to get into my Petco account . I spend abput $100.00 monthly but am giving up on them ever getting a better website!

My pick up experience was amazing. I ordered it the night before, and it was ready first thing in the morning. When I arrive for pick up, I was welcomed at the door and showed where to pick up my items. I was also given some suggestions for my dog that wasn’t feeling well.

WARNING. I have been customer.Things ok until I purchased a monthly Vital Care subscription- unlimited nail trims. IHad it 3 months - never been able to use it - Petco keeps changing the rules and access. Finally got appointment today. Showed up and the app wasn't working. Store manager, Lauren, was called to help. She sited all the headaches they are having with the app... and blamed it on customer use and abuse. She said I had to delete the app and try again. Her staff tried the app - no luck. Manager said that's all that can be done. Need code for service. App gives code. NOT working. I was frustrated and so was the Manager. I challenged her 'nothing I can do for you' attitude because there's always something to be done and she said "This conversation is over." Turned her back and walked away. That manager could have said, let's trim your dogs nails since you've come to the store and this is our issue not yours. It would have taken 5 minutes. Two groomers were sitting at the counter and wanted to help. This was a no brainer. But the manager decided not to make it right and instead, lose a customer. One last stick in the eye. I was told to go online and make another appointment. Seriously?! I stupidly tried. You CAN'T make an appt online for nail trim on their site!!! So for fun I tried to schedule a bath (that you can do online). NO appts available until 6/23! Today is 6/2! This is a racket. The subscription is non cancelable. The cherry on top - a poor customer-facing manager. Good luck Petco.

I give every retailer the benefit of the doubt, probably too many times, as is the case with this particular Petco store. I have frequented this store many times over the years as it's the closest pet supply store to my home. However, the customer service is severely lacking to say the least. My geriatric cat has to eat novel proteins due to a chronic intestinal disease. She's extremely picky but has been (after trying Rx foods & others) finally eating a Proplan duck formula. There is a supply issue with this food; other Petco stores have graciously opened multi packs so I could buy what they had of the duck. The Avon store has not had the individual cans in months! On my last visit in, when I could not find someone to help me, I open the multi pack and started to take the duck cans. The store manager? Or stocking manager? THEN came buy and chastised me for doing this, would not let me buy the cans, and said it messes up inventory to open multi packs like that. I explained my cats issues and how I can't order or get the individual cans online or in store. With no empathy or offer of help, insisted I couldn't have them and started repacking them! That was about two weeks ago. A couple days ago I made an online order to pick up curbside. I went by yesterday to pick it up, I had a sick child in the car with me. I waited 20 minutes, called the pick-up number SIX times and each time it would be answered, I could hear the clerk at the register, and then they would hang up! Unbelievable! After 20 minutes of this, I went inside, had to wait in line and when I finally made it to the counter- it was that same manager? From two weeks ago! I told her I had called multiple times and been hung up on and all she had to say was 'well it's just the three of us and I didn't hang up on anyone and we're very busy!! Again, no customer care or service whatsoever. This store desperately needs new help and a manager that actually knows about customer service!

Brought my dog for a full set of vaccines. Vet and staff were helpful and answered my questions and paperwork for travel with my dog.
