“Nice place to waste some time and money. Hard to love this store with big lots nextdoor. As far as grabbing little odds and ends and cool tshirts this place is a go also the new candy section is pretty cool.”

“Stopped by 5 Below in Fairlawn Ohio this weekend. Gave my niece and nephew $5 each and said can pick out whatever yall want. They were good this weekend plus it’s memorial day weekend so always nice to get a treat. This store has such a wide variety of items, from tech, makeup, exercise, outdoor, full candy section, clothing, toys and much more! 5 Below in my opinion is one of the best places to buy basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, a football and even a pickleball starter set. Great place to buy starter items for any sport on a budget! Most items range from $1-$15 so something for all budgets. Store was very clean, shelves stocked and we left with a cartful of stuff for only 39 bucks. I always tell people it feels like an upgraded Dollar Store. Go check them out!”
Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
