A bad week ended with a great friend and car dealership I will go to every time. Bill Steedle and his staff helped me get my Jeep that was promised to me by another dealership. On Saturday September 9, 2023 myself and my husband were at a dealership in Pikeville Ky when I drove a Jeep Grand Cherokee L Midnight Sky. I fell in love, but we called a dealership that we had done business with in the past for a better offer. They promised that if we made the two and a half hour drive to Glockner in Ashland Ky, they would have one there by the time we got there and beat the other dealerships offer. We brought the paperwork with the other dealerships offer on it and the word games started. We got there at 5pm, no Jeep Grand Cherokee L Midnight Sky on their lot. Word game: we can get it for you, better price but if we have something on the lot that we like better, we would recommend that. They had nothing else I wanted. I had made up my mind ( Sales person Kenny; I totally understand) I can get the one you want but it's an hour away. Ok, we looked at pictures, this one had the light color interior, 40/60 bench second row seat and the tow prep package we decided on. The sales person ( Kenny) we here at Glockner do a lifetime powertrain warranty and we will tint your windows, it will be here Wednesday waiting on you for this price. Even though the Jeep was not in their possession, they asked us for a $500 deposit. We agreed and left at 8pm with a two and a half hour drive back home. We were excited and looking forward to the new Jeep.Fast forward to Tuesday afternoon, sales person (Kenny) leaves a voice message on my husband's phone stating they still have not heard back from the dealership with the Jeep that we had agreed upon but he was still working on it. Wednesday around noon ( a time line that would've been us on the road to go pickup our promised Jeep) the sales person ( Kenny) plays text, phone call, text, phone call multiple times, telling us they can't get the agreed upon Jeep. We ask three times for our deposit back and three times, I will call you back in 15 minutes with the return of your deposit receipt. When sales person (Kenny) calls we ask him where the Jeep is located that we agreed to purchase ( remember, sales person Kenny told us it was an hour away) It was located at Belmont Jeep in Barnesville, Ohio ( 2 1/2 hours from Ashland Ky) We called Belmont Jeep and spoke with Bill ( the owner) he had told them on Monday that he was not going to do a dealer trade. ( Monday!!!) I explained to Bill my predicament and we came to a verbal agreement, even though they were five and a half hours from my home.( Around 5:30 pm sales person (Kenny) states they have found the exact same Jeep with the same package at a Tennessee dealership. But gave us until 6:30 pm to let him know what we wanted to do. I called Bill back at the Belmont Jeep in Barnesville Ohio and we went over the math from the Glockner dealership offer, Bill's math made since as every cent and rebate was accounted for. So, we called sales person (Kenny) back to let him know we were not going to go with them and we needed our $500 good faith deposit back. Kenny stated that because they have a vehicle in Tennessee, not yet traded for, or transported to their dealership, we would not be getting our deposit back.Spending Thursday with Bill Steedle at Belmont Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and not having smoke blown up my rear for the day just to get me to take the Jeep home was to say the least, refreshing. They're a small dealership with a great home town pride and personality. Bill hugged me the first time he met me and I'm not a hugger. He provided a hospitality that is completely lost in the two big dealerships we dealt with. If you need a vehicle and don't need smoke and mirrors to get you to purchase it, my best advice; Go See Bill ?

We towed our new rv to bark camp and had a trailer brake malfunction. We called the rv dealer .. there is an issue with later model suv while towing newer trailers w LED lighting. It requires a software patch update Until the update we were stranded. The owner Bill was so helpful. We called another doge dealer and the guy said he had no idea what I was talking about and didn’t have time to helpEveryone at the dealership worked to help us get on our way. We made it home safely.. over 100 miles thanks to a small dealership that cares

Driving on East interstate 70, and a truck in front of us hit a deer which we ran over. This caused radiator damage. Or car was taken to the nearest dealer which was Belmont Dodge. The folks at Belmont found the parts and got us a new radiator installed within one day, so we could resume our trip. We highly recommend this dealership.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had trying to buy a vehicle. The pictures they posted on facebook were very vague and hid a lot of flaws on the vehicle. We drove almost 2 hours away to view the vehicle and when we saw the jeep it was absolutely horrible. When we said we no longer wanted to view the vehicle after driving 2 hours the staff became very rude and said that people around the area value the integrity of the vehicle rather than the looks and tried to say I could have everything fixed on it under $900 and that I could trust them because that’s their job when in reality they were just trying to make a sale. This dealership does not care about you or selling you a good vehicle. They only care about making a sale and once we weren’t interested the salesman became very rude and actually argued with me. Very unprofessional and in my mind not good business. I highly don’t recommend this dealership. Also they said we would never find a vehicle like it and in the same day we went 30 mins down the road to whiteside gm in St.clairsville and found a higher trimmed model for lower miles and way better shape for a better price. Watch out when going to this dealership

Do not trust the pictures online!! I drove over an hour and had messaged the dealer about a Jeep Grand Cherokee and he mentioned NOTHING about the terrible exterior and interior. The pictures online hid it all. I showed up and there were dents and scratches all over and the interior was wore. Salesman was extremely rude and arrogant. He told me I wouldn’t find a better deal, but I did. I would not recommend this place. I still can’t believe how I was treated.

Customer service at its finest! As a person who has provided customer service for more than 20 years, I really notice and appreciate when someone goes "above and beyond" for their customer. Bill at Belmont Dodge is stellar when it comes to providing top notch customer care. It took a lot of patience and understanding all the way around, but Bill was able to resolve an issue that had the potential to be disastrous. Thank you Bill and staff of Belmont Dodge for getting me back on the road at a fraction of the cost of what could have been a hefty repair bill!

I bought a brand new Durango from Belmont dodge. It is almost 2 years old and was having break issues. I thought there was a pebble in between the rotor and the brake pad. I took it apart and found out that the inside pad was completely wore off and the outside pad looked like it was new. It only has 21,000 miles on it. This is on the rear of the vehicle. I thought it was still under manufacture warranty so I took it back to Belmont dodge to get fixed. The service manager there lied to me and said that the pads were wearing evenly and was going to charge me to replace the caliper, rotor, and pads. I don’t appreciate being lied to especially after spending $40,000 there, and having it serviced there as well. I do not recommend doing business with them and I will not be back!

Pretty sad you drop 40 k on a brand new vehicle and when you need to use the factor bumper to bumper warranty the service manager blatantly lies about the problem and refused to honor the warranty. I will never purchase anything from this dealership nor would I recommend them to anyone...
