On Feb 10th, 2024, this exact location refused to accept my paper '5 off 25' coupon on Saturday because the clerk said quote "it had to be over 26.00". That was a lie, given either out of ignorance or direction from management. This is the only location whose self checkout machine won't accept my wife's phone number either, even though the Belmont location has no trouble. It is a nightmare trying to shop on Saturdays at the Barnesville Dollar General, but I think that's by design....

Pretty annoyed that I’ve called this store several times to just ask a question before going out + no one there can ever answer. It always rings and rings no matter how many times I call.

Pretty easy place to shop at but their reliance on self checkout is insane. If you want somebody else to scan your stuff like it should be, expect an attitude and a wait.

Need to have more people running register instead of 3 or 4 employees standing around talking with each other. Employees will look around the corner and see a line and go right back to talking to each other.

Was good but the persontbat checked us out had a problem didn't smile or didn't say it word. I k ow how to treat customers n u do not act like that at all u dont let the customers know there is nothing wrong at all. 15 years I was a manager at a big restaurant chain plus we had to have training at the Pittsburgh headquarters

Messy...stock needed to be put onto shelves...never enough employees at any Dollar General Store...not much price labels on the shelves beneath merchandise...I like knowing what things cost before I purchase them!
