Please shield your lights so that your security fixtures are pointed downward and not outward and upward where the light isn't needed. Not only are the lights blinding from the interstate but bright shadows cover the residential area on the opposite side of the interstate. I don't know how others aren't complaining about it.

We have been renting here since 2015 (5 years). In that time we have had several units of differing sizes. We love Kathy, and have always been treated professionally and kindly. We have referred several friends here who have always been happy with the referral. Would highly recommend and would never hesitate to use them.

Worst customer service I've had to deal with in a very long time! First, I want to mention that I have used this place numerous times in the past. Prior to this rude and unacceptable treatment, I had chose them first. They were usually very kind, helpful and had what I needed to complete my moving and storage needs; Of course, I will NEVER choose them again! The company can thank Kathy at the Old SR 74, Batavia location for the loss of my future business and recommendations to my friends and relatives. After the sale of my house and agreeing to a short notice move. I didn't think securing a storage unit would be such a grueling and tedious ordeal. I had recently started a new job and hadn't set up a direct deposit account yet. The company gave me a pay card. This card didn't have my name on it, but it did have certain security actions in place to safe guard my money. I was unaware of these safe guards, until I tried to use it to pay for the storage unit. It was the address on file that ultimately caused it's decline. I lived in Milford my personal property resided in Batavia. The Batavia house sold, so I was moving my personal items to storage to ultimately move permanently to Milford. Since I had 2 addresses; Where I actually stayed and where my residence was. I put my residence on the storage application. The pay card used the address in which I actually stayed at. Since this discrepancy was on the application, my card was denied. Kathy, being stand offish and rude says, it's declined. Like I couldn't understand it. I said, let me call and figure it out. While I was on the phone with the company, I find out why it was declined. I fixed the problem with the company and returned to complete my application. When I walked in, I was approached by a large dog. I felt threatened, because I wasn't sure if this dog was friendly or not. It approached fast and startled me. The owner calls the dog and it returned to it's owner. Why is there a large dog without a leash approaching customers here? A unleashed animal freely roaming around? Kathy, with a smirk on her face, seemed amused by my reaction to the dog. I didn't appreciate that! When I told Kathy that I had straightened out the credit card situation, she looks at the pay card and says, we can't take this. I'm like "What?" she said, it doesn't have your name or anything to prove it's your card. I'm like, you were fine with it before. She says "Well, I just noticed it" rude and distrusting attitude; Like, I spent the last hour in this place, now she says I can't use the card. Of course, she offers no options. Like maybe, get and pay cash. So, I went to the atm and got cash for the unit, when I returned, Kathy said, Oh, I don't have that unit anymore, I just rented it to the woman with the dog. Well, that obviously wasted 3 hours of my day. No thanks to rude and unaccommodating clerk named Kathy! Thanks for your help! I really appreciate it. But, because of this, I found a better and more reliable storage facility called Eastside Storage. Highly recommended with very helpful and kind staff! My future business and recommendations will follow.

I used Best Self Storage for multiple units while building a a home and had a great experience. The owners and front office manager (Kathy) are absolutely tremendous! We used another company prior to switching to Best Self Self Storage and was unhappy with the other company's service from persistent billing issues to cleanliness of the property. Best Self Storage is immaculate, not just the individual units but the entire property and their staff are truly nice people. I would recommend this business to friends and family in need of storage space. Positively a five star rating!

My wife has a unit there, and even the small unit is very spacious . The people there are very friendly and helpful, any time we've ever needed their assistance for anything at all. Security seams to be sufficient. Well lit at night. I like that.
