I was looking to take my car to a new mechanics after a few bad experiences and I'm so glad my mom recommended Tarvin's to me! She had her Durango serviced by them way, way back and she said they did quality work time and time again. I'm happy to report that it's the same as it was back then and I'm estatic to have found a trustworthy mechanic I can now take *my* car too!
Having my front struts replaced was also a lot more affordable here than other places I've gotten quotes from. Even when I had a small issue, they replaced the part in no time and I really appreciated how honest the owner is with his clients - it's so refreshing after dealing with so many shady businesses.
I have some more maintenance I need to get done on my car and for that I'll be scheduling with them as well. I'll be going to them for everything from here on out! Thank you so much to everyone there for your help with my car. 😊❤️

Wow! This shop is definitely worth 10 stars. While working out of town, I noticed that my work truck has a sweet antifreeze smell. I called the shop to see if they could get me in, this was at 2:00 pm (they close at 4:30). They said bring it in and we will check it out. Once I pulled in I looked under the hood and found a hose leaking. They pulled it right in and said they could have it done before the end of the day of the part was available. This saved me from having to find a ride or get a rental when I was 3 hours from home. Top notch service, great establishment. Highly recommend!

My vehicle showed signs of alternator failure, but I was about 150 miles from home. If I didn't find a mechanic that day I would have had to change my schedule and cancel my meetings. Well I called Tarvins and I think the guy on the phone could tell that I was in serious trouble and told me to come in.
They replaced my alternator for me and I was able to hit the road. Not only did they save me time, but I wasn't trapped on the side of the road out of state with mechanical failure. Thank you Tarvin, truly.

I am a home hospice nurse and was in between patient visits, Unfortunately, my alternator needed to be replaced. I was close by and had my vehicle towed there. They were able to get me in same day so I could see my patients. They were very nice and professional. Highly recommend this place and even though I live in Kentucky, I will be coming here for all future repairs.

Love this place my boyfriend and I came in for a weird problem with our hazards. The man at the desk provided us with snacks and waters, ensured us they would figure out what was wrong even drove us to get food while we waited for our car to be fixed. They fixed our car after driving to sharonville to get the part we needed. This is the best customer service experience we have ever had. We appreciate this place so much and will be coming back for any further problems with our cars in the future. Thank you!!

Amazing local mechanic the only place I’ve ever been where they try to talk you out of spending money and only doing what is best for your vehicle. I’m truly blessed to live in a community that has a local mechanic like this if you have any needs to repair your vehicle or preventative maintenance. Please go to this location. You will not be disappointed

we took an older truck to tarvin's to check it over and make sure what needed to be repaired. a radiator leak was suspected. per Kim they pressure test to the radiator there was no leak it was low on oil they took two drives in it to check it out for 32 miles each time then called me and I told me it was ready to go I told them I was driving it 180 miles and I wanted to make sure that it would make it and everything would be okay with it. they came back and said there was no radiator leak and that it was low on oil but they filled it up and everything was fine. my son picked it up drove it approximately 5 miles it overheated we paid $200 to have it towed back to them after paying them $300 for the supposed work they had done they called me back and said the radiator had a crack on the driver side now and that the head gasket now had to be replaced and estimated 3300 at least to do the repairs now needed. I'm now in $700 already, it's an old truck I get that, but that was the whole point of paying them to look it over I am now out of truck and out two towing charges totaling $400 and the $300 we paid them to fix what apparently was not broken until we drove it again. i wouldn't take the devil's car to them at this point don't trust them now. hope you don't either. they accept no blame for the problems.

Took our car here recently, need some external engine work. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost of the work as well as the speed it was done. I’ve seen the shop area before and it is professional looking, not some junk pile with things stuffed everywhere. An organized shop is a good sign. Last, there are some people who leave classic cars here for them to be worked on, and that is a discriminating crowd. Overall, it was a solid experience and I will take my cars here again in the future.

Tavin Auto is an outstanding company known for their honesty and professionalism. As a woman with limited knowledge about cars, I have complete trust in them. I've previously visited other shops that overcharged me and exploited my lack of understanding regarding my vehicle's issues. Tavin auto, on the other hand, has always treated me great. They take the time to explain the necessary repairs and maintenance in a way that's easy to understand, ensuring I feel confident about the decisions I make. Their team is not only skilled but also genuinely caring, making each visit a good experience. It's refreshing to find a business that values integrity and customer satisfaction above all else. As a single woman, I can say that I felt very much discriminated against by Kim. Not only did he dismiss everything I had to say about the issues with my vehicle he cuts you off when you try to speak. They had my car for two days and couldn’t figure out why it was overheating. I asked him to please check the radiator cap and he dismissed me the first day they had my car. Only to come to the conclusion that it was in fact a bad radiator cap. So after 2 days of not having my car, lost wages at work, and the cost of a rental for a day, and 500.00 later, it ended up being the very thing I mentioned to him. 375.00 for the tow bill and 100.00 for a radiator cap to be put on. I’ll never take my car back there. Communication was very poor also. They never reached out to me at any point in the process. It was always me calling them. I previously took my vehicle here because my employer and his wife have used them in the past. I had $1300 worth of work done on my 2009 Lexus back around Christmas time by Tarvins which included having a new battery, alternator, serpentine belt, and thermostat replaced. You would have thought they would have replaced the radiator cap at that time which would have prevented me being out 500.00 and the hassle of it all. Unfortunately they have lost my business along with my employers. I don’t mind paying for a service that is provided but I don’t like feeling dismissed or taken advantage of
