A few hours later I got a text from a technician acting like it was from my dog saying everything is going great. I am calm and ready for surgery. The girls here are showing me all kinds of love. “Our, almost14 year old, German Shorthaired Pointer started going downhill the week before Thanksgiving. She was unable to barely move due to one of her legs. She had a couple of good days but over the weekend declined again. We decided it was time to take her somewhere and already knew what we would have to do. Animal Wellness Hospital was the only place near us with any availability and they took us in that day. I’m SO thankful for their kindness and service to us and our sweet, old pup. They gave us plenty of time with her, explained what would happen and just treated our whole family with compassion. The techs and the vet just went above and beyond during a really hard time for us all. A few months later they even all signed a card and sent it to us.
