I had a great conversation with the owner today when I stopped in with my wife for the first time - we've just moved to the area and I wanted to check out our gaming options; Critical Hit checked every box for us. We didn't make any purchases today but will absolutely be back. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about both the products in the store and the culture and history surrounding them - from Pokémon Cards to indie TTRPGs, Critical Hit doesn't miss. P.S. The shop dog, Rufus, is a chatty little sweetheart - and the owner is very experienced at talking customers through meeting him! I was honored to meet the shop's brave protector up close.”

“Michaela is still falling short of the needs covered by Joanne Fabric, but there are signs up saying more is coming we will see. The last time I was in the store I waited almost 10 minutes to have some fabric cut. They do have a decent selection of project kits for kids and the prices are good. I’m a bit new to this store so I’m going to give them more time especially since they are not filling the void left by Joanne Fabrics.”

“I cannot rave about this place enough! I was able to find all the flowers I needed for the table centerpieces at my wedding! I was also able to get flowers for my wedding cake! There was a very large selection of options for all different types of flowers! The store is very clean! The staff are extremely helpful. The location is great too! I love that. It is located around a bunch of other stores! It makes going out in shopping a fun trip! I was able to get ranunculus flowers, roses, and eucalyptus! I would highly recommend coming to the store to get flowers!

I have also bought yarn from the store before as well! They have a large selection, including various color options, and yarn weight! I will always be coming to this Michael goals for all my crafting needs! I would give it a seven star if I could!”

“Standing in the checkout line with a couple items and a family emergency came up. I had to set the items on the counter and leave. I have shopped at this Mayfield Heights location before and the associate at the register did recognize me from previous visits. The emergency that came up had me in a rush and visibly upset . When I return to GameStop 3 days later, that same associate had set aside the two items that I had to leave behind and asked me if I would still like to purchase them. The fact that he had seen that I was dealing with an issue of importance and for him to be kind enough to hold those items for me when I returned was a service I've never experienced before. Walking back into the store and to see the items handed back to me and asked if I would still like to purchase them, actually got me emotional because I was buying items for my son who is in the hospital. That was the reason I had to leave quickly three days prior. I was so taken by the moment that I regret not being able to remember the gentleman's name. He works at the Mayfield Heights gamestop. This gentleman is not just a great GameStop employee who does a good job..... He's a great person who's good at life. Thank you GameStop for hiring such great people. I'll be going to GameStop first before even ordering online with this kind of service”
