Andy was very helpful as I was picking out my first pair of climbing shoes. The also have a wall with some holds on it so you can get a feel for how the shoes might work for you. I’m getting away from rentals at the gym and they had everything I needed to switch to my own gear.

I feel very misled by this location. Went in to purchase a ski coat last month. Was told they sold out of most of their ski related stuff because of the recent snowstorm. Purchased & coat & snowpants. We were talked into purchasing their membership. Was told about how we can trade in our ski equipment, get a discount on new equipment, etc. We returned today to use our $30 gift card from purchasing the membership to see if there was any ski helmets or goggles left. Found out they no longer sell ski equipment & haven't in a few years!! This is a 40 min drive from our house. I feel they were dishonest. Ski related merchandise is all I'd be interested in. They sold me on the membership based on that knowledge.

I visited this location from Pittsburgh while taking my puppy to the vet. The store was great. But Scott put the icing on the cake. The person I was with lost the keys to our truck. I panicked and was too scared to tell anyone my puppy was in the truck. He knew the entire store like the back of his hand and found them in less than 5 minutes. This review may be irrelevant to some but all I know I wish the world had more Scott’s. Thank you again!

Neat store. Clothing prices are very expensive except for sale items. There is an offensive LGBTQ flag hanging prominently next to the Ohio flag.

The staff was extremely rude (like TSA rude,) during COVID. Never again will I give them my money.

I joined as a member today thanks to the help of Scott at the Pinecrest store! Scott was very knowledgeable about all of the products i had questions about, and educated me on “there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear!” Scott is passionate about his lifestyle which should make REI proud to have such a like minded employee. Thanks Scott!

Been shopping at REI for years and this store is no exception to the quality I've come to expect. Great store with good staff, right in the Pinecrest mall. Everything tends to be a little expensive but in the diminishing world of warranties, their one year return policy no questions asked (within reason) is hard to beat. They have just about everything a recreational enthusiast would need and their garage sales every few months really help get some great gear on a tight budget. It's a drive across town for me but I'll always go when I need stuff!

Great shopping experience with REI last night. Mitch was wonderful and helped me pick out essentials for my upcoming camping trip in no time.

I’ve been a co-op member since the 90’s and bought quite a bit of gear here. A pair of La Sportiva boots that the staff recommended last August came apart in less than a year under normal backpacking use. REI touts its very flexible return/exchange policy, but the one time I asked for help, they failed miserably and said it was normal wear and tear, and that I should not expect to get more than 12 months/200+ miles from high-end boots. I will be taking my outdoor dollars elsewhere in the future.

I recently purchased a e bike from REI due the the sale they were having which I was able to get a level 1 e bike for $980 vs $2000 original price. I ordered the bike on Friday at 4:30 and the bike was assembled and ready for pick up by 7:30 the same day. Really amazingly fast turn around time and the gentleman in the bike shop went over some of the basics with me and also helped me sign up for a lifetime co op membership due. The membership covers 20% of repairs and also 2 free flat repairs per year. Plus $30 for a lifetime membership that is a steal. Even though REI is about 40 minutes from me I'll definitely be back.
