Excellent customer service. This was my first time at this location and I was impressed. I was greeted when I came in and the store was well stocked with everything. There was a big sale going on and it was crowded but the line went quickly. I was very happy with the level of service that I received and I will definitely be back.

I only giving negative when the time sees fit and this is one of those times. This establishment has plagued people of color too long. It's sad enough that as a frequent customer my spouse can't go to a Sephora store and shop with out being followed because people that aren't of the majority steal. But to be turned away someone using the credit card that they have with that company and you are able to see that persons ID and they can verify all their info as well. It frustrates and upsets me that this is the "America" we live in smdh. My spouse loves make up and I will not be buyer her any from this establishment.

Extremely rude employees. Bothered that you are “in their personal space”.. actually had a cashier say that to me about my stroller! My baby’s stroller!! The lines are very tight and to push my stroller through there is very tough. I could tell the moment I walked in how bothered they were with my stroller and my baby getting fussy. I addressed the situation with the manager. No way to treat a paying customer (spent close to $200).. there is a way to speak to people and I’m sure she would not appreciate that tone.

Unfortunately I've consistently had unpleasant experiences at this location. Most of the time its something like being ignored when I needed assistance or when I do get a hold of an associate I get bad advice/recommendations (ex: I come in looking for a skin tint and I'm recommended a high coverage foundation almost as if thats what they're supposed to be pushing for that month/week/sales competition amongst the employees) and/or just a really off-putting attitude that made me regret asking for help in the first place.Most recently on (9/8) I went in store to look at some concealers. Walked around looking for an associate but the ones that weren't already helping customers were all bunched up at the front talking and laughing with each other or in the mirror touching up their own makeup . Not in the mood to deal with potential rudeness given the experiences I'd had prior, I figured out the color match myself and narrowed it down to two. Went to checkout and the blonde associate didn't even say hi or even smile just "type in your telephone number". I did, and unbeknownst to me there's multiple emails associated with my account. Instead of asking me which one I used, she assumed and clicked one randomly. When I got home I discovered one of the shades I picked was a perfect match and the other was a bit too dark. I decided to go to the Beachwood Mall location and the associate there couldn't find the purchase in my account. Turns out, the original blonde cashier at Pinecrest chose the wrong email. So not only was the correct account not credited for the original purchase, now we have no idea where the receipt is for the return. So here I am trying to return a product with no record of it being purchased. Basically I look like I stole the product. Thankfully after more discussion the Beachwood associate found it and we returned the concealer with no issue. It could've been avoided if the blonde associate (with lip filler if that narrows it down) at Pinecrest had just asked which email I use. Despite the convenient location, I'm done going to Pinecrest Sephora.My advice is to just skip Pinecrest and go to Beachwood. Friendlier, more helpful and more knowledgable staff.

I just went in to get shade matched for the Haus labs foundation and I can easily say this was the best experience I’ve had at a Sephora when it comes to customer service. Audra shade scanned me and was so kind and helpful in finding my perfect shade. The girl at the cash register was also super nice (I’m sorry I forgot to get your name but happy 30th birthday girl!) everyone working today definitely deserve some recognition. My new favorite location!!

I love SEPHORA!I’m a regular customer at Sephora Online, Sephora Beachwood Mall, and this branch. Today I went with a friend to get some products & I was looking at Sephora Makeup brushes and found a great set of 9 brushes with a gray bag for $49! Couldn't find any of the sets on the rack so I called for help.This nice blonde hair assistant came and looked over the rack and she was confused about the price & she wasn’t sure why there were none left. So she went to ask it took her some time, then she came back with the manager of the store but sadly I couldn't catch her name.The manager walked over to me with loud firm language (Do you have a question?) I smiled and said yes! I want this brush set but I couldn't find them on the shelves. She said these are the holiday set and no longer selling them, but they are still on display because we didn't get the new set offer yet! But we have those in a black bag they are the same.I said they’re not the same, the brushes type are the black ones and for $72! She said yes they are different brushes of higher quality. I said well thank you, it was confusing to me. She didn't apologize or anything she was just prepared to fight.She left and saw her rolling her eyes to the other lady who helped first. She was so RUDE to us! I don’t think I asked anything weird or did anything wrong, but when you are a bad manager you want to raise your voice thinking that I will get scared and walk away! Here you go this is how I respond to people like you!

The staff especially those in management are incompetent, short tempered and inconsiderate. I made a return 11/06/22, and informed the cashier that I had new debit card due to fraud on my account. She confirmed with a staff member her next to her that it was fine to insert my new debt card for the return. I did the whole return processed and received a receipt. 11/15/22 I contact led my bank to confirmed that I had not received my refund. Then I contacted the store at 7:00PM. I was told only the store manager could hand my issue in person. However, the employee supposedly took my name down. I contacted the company 1800 number listed on the website. The representative took all of my receipt information but could not assist me. On 11/17/22 I drove 2 hours to this location with all my documents. The first manager tried to brush me off by telling me to contact my bank. I explained once again that I drove 2 hours because one of their employees took my name took my name for the store manager to assist me, that corporate representative told me to come in for assistance and that my bank did not see any incoming refund. They called the store manager up there to assist me. She just copied the information from both of receipts and brushed me off claiming whoever she needed to contact is in California so this isn’t going to be a quick fix. As someone who’s worked in retail management and banking for the last 13 years she should have made contact right in front of my face and done more than take my contact information. There was so remorse or empathy shown for the inconvenience of driving 2 hours for $40.85. The whole staff needs coaching. And the symbolism in touching clinging the registrar while saying “I can’t give you cash out the register”, when I NEVER asked for cash back was hurtful. I asked for my $40.85 to be processed back to me because it had been over 10 days. Duh, you can’t give me cash out the register but you didn’t even offer store credit which wouldn’t have appeased me at that point anyway but you still could have offered.
