Sent my brother in to upgrade a phone at this location because they aren’t an authorized retailer… big mistake. Looks like all AT&T stores slam Next Up and Protection on phones without telling people these days. Will avoid AT&T stores entirely in the future.

My experience at first was amazing! I went in thinking I was getting a nice deal trading in my Iphone 11 for a new I phone 15. I was told that if I did so I would be getting 830$ towards my new Iphone due to a trade in offer they had. I told them t-mobile offered me a better deal but decided to go with them due to Dominiques great customer service. I than realized on my bill that it did not accurately reflect the deal that was presented to me. I called the store to make them aware and they told me that the deal was supposed to be 350$ for my Iphone 11 and that Dominique had put in a old trade in offer that was no longer in effect when I came in. I than drove an hour up to the store to talk to the store manager and Dominique to see what had happened. Dominique was there waiting for me and told me the manager (Amanda), had told her to handle the situation since she was the reason it happened. Domonique said she was sorry and it was her fault and she did not know the deal was not valid anymore. I had asked if there is anything we can do to make this right and she told me there was nothing the store could actually do. I asked to speak with the store manager Amanda multiple times due to Dominique only being an associate. The manager told her to tell me she was unavailable and too busy to handle this matter. I was completely flabbergasted at the fact she did not want to help the customer or even acknowledge the problem for two hours I was there. I talked to Custer care on the phone and they said the only way they can credit me is through the store since that misled me into the contract in the first place. I'm completely disappointed in AT&T! This is how you treat customers! Leave them to pay more on their bill due to an employee's mistake. I decided to call the store and try to reach out to Amanda the next day. She came to the phone and said she knew about the situation yesterday but too much was going on to come out the back to help with the situation. She basically told me it was “only 13$ more a month and it wasn't big of a deal”, which is completely out of line. I asked for the district manager James' email/number but no one could give me ANY information. I just hate that when issues like this arise they leave the burden on the customer. This issue was completely not my fault but yet I'm supposed to pay for the lies AT&T told me. So watch future customers, when issues arise they will hide their hands and tell you to just deal with it! I've never been more disappointed in a phone company ever!!!!!!!
