Vet and staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Me and my pet felt reassured and well cared for. Was my first visit and they were very welcoming. The vet answered all my questions with easy to understand explanations. Had a few smaller issues with the checkout at the end but still a great experience

They always take wonderful care of my furry babies. I've been going here for over 20 years and even though the name has changed, they still exceed my expectations in every way. I've had everything from exotic pets, to emergency surgeries, to empathetic euthanization, to regular care - speaking of which the new care club is great. Thank you guys for being so wonderful!

Nice place with large spacious waiting areas, even a little play room for little ones. Very clean and staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. We took our niece-furbaby to get her ears checked. Could use an extra seat or chair in exam room, but overall it was a successful visit! Thank you ❤️

I have given this practice several chances over the years. we took our dogs to dr. burger when I was a kid, but my parents stopped using her because she was rude. Then, when I was 18, I got a rabbit. I went back to beavercreek animal hospital to get him neutered because the house rabbit society recommended them. Dr. burger did a great job with the surgery, there were some issues with pain control afterward, but everything went smoothly. 8 years later I came back because my rabbit had stopped grooming himself as well, and showed signs of having mites. I worked with Dr. burger for this, and when the mites came back, she made me feel like the worst pet parent in the world. she is not kind. so I switched to Dr. Calhoun. He is a good guy and assisted me when Baxter was having arthritic pain. Dr. Calhoun is a good vet stuck in a bad practice. I could never get my rabbits medicine in a timely manner, they had me order from vca online, and it just stopped being delivered. when I tried to work with the vet office about this, I found out that the vets don't cover each others patients like human doctors and other vets do, and no one would assist me in getting metacam for my bunny. a non narcotic pain med equivalent to mobic. this was an issue several times, and my rabbit would go days without meds. the staff at beavercreek animal hospital are not nice. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, because I was a receptionist for years at a human doctor's office, and it's not always a pleasant job. However, the toxicity from them was constant. this ultimately lead to me firing this practice. I was able to find a different hospital, and I didn't know going to the vet could be so helpful and pleasant. unfortunately certain procedures for rabbits have to be referred to beavercreek animal hospital. if/when my 10 year old rabbit needs work on his molars, I will be driving to Columbus, because the staff at beavercreek animal hospital informed me that they'd never provide care to "that rabbit" again. my stress and anxiety surrounding the health of my pet has significantly decreased since I left beavercreek animal hospital. they seem decent until you have to work with them regularly, or rely on them for anything. try evergreen instead.

Very kind, understanding and caring. I had to put my beautiful, 18 year old boy to sleep yesterday and it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

In a time when a lot of the local clinics are losing doctors and not accepting new patients, this place is adding new doctors and patients and got us in within a few days. The staff are both knowledgeable and professional and we look forward to seeing them for the time we are here.

Ive been taking my pets to them for nearly 20 years. If it wasn't for the fact no other vets are taking patients, I'd change. When VCA bought the practice, everything spiraled yo disappointment. My records online never match whats in the office. I've had to give them my one dogs prior vet records three times because they never actually archive it. And good luck getting appointments. I know Dr. Berger is amazing and I trust her judgement... IF you can get in to see her. Good luck if your pet is sick, you'll wait a month for an appointment unless you're able to call right when they open for a same day, which never happens. I've spent pretty much every illness with my two pups over the last 4 years at medvet because they couldn't get me in here for weeks. They say they're hiring, but when I look online, there's no listing on common hiring sites like Indeed. I think the corporate leadership keeps them understaffed on purpose. Its not fair to the hard working and compassionate staff. I hope VCA steps up and actually runs their businesses instead of leaving local offices to drown and blame the pandemic. Its a cop out at this point.

Deeply upset to have just received an insensitive *text message* to pay additional fees to have our recently euthanized dog rabies tested. I’m very disappointed in how this was handled. Missing fees warrants a phone call and a sensitive discussion—not a text. No information—I had to call and ask why we were being charged more than what we had already paid this morning.

I had been going to this location for 20+ years based on its reasonable prices and personalized customer/pet service. Now it’s just a corporate nightmare! The vets don’t even examine your dog in the room with you- - They take pets in the back so you don’t even know what’s going on. Forget it if you want to actually speak to a doctor! You’re just a ‘number’ to them here. So sad.
