i have done work to haupts truck awhile
back. the monitor that is plugged into the diagnostics port is not a tuner its a monitor to watch numbers i ordered and set up the gauge when i had the vehicle in my garage. he has recently called me ab this transmission problem. and told
me its under warranty. i also sold those wheels and tires to him with bald tires. the owner doug was disrespectful talking to hayden. we took it to another shop and it came back with two codes.
"P0-766 Shift solenoid "D" performance stuck off "
"92703 friction "D" performance"
This is how business go down the drain for poor quality and shitty work.
WARRANTY IS WARRANTY FIX THE PROBLEM.
you sure are ready to fight back on a google review to cover ur backs if you have ti fix it mutiple times and the warranty should restary like any other place a good down to earth shop
backs there work with a warranty your saying you dont want to back ur work up with a warranty bc your work isnt worth it!!! Just remember if you did it right the first time youd not have the problem of having to keep on fixing it

Very cocky and disrespectful. Had transmission rebuilt and paid over $4000 just to last 10,000 miles before breaking! Had fixed under warranty then lasted 3000 miles broke again had to fight and fight and had them fix again well after 2000 miles once again the trans is going out and they won’t fix it bc it’s “out of warranty” even tho it’s the same code over and over and same issue to a T! Very shady and is out to scam you and take your money! The owner Doug is a JOKE!

I wanted a new transmission. They said a rebuilt is cheaper. I saw the transmission on eBay for 2 grand new. They said no it’ll cost you 10 grand. After I was concerned by the lack of communication and what seemed like desperately trying to convince me to pay the 6 k to have them work on it. Which 1000 of that was to check it so it’s not free. I drove my truck and the transmission slipped again! After trying to take it to a shop my motor blew. These liars assured me the rebuild was good. I should have had better judgment when my question were talked over or not answered. I asked for my money back they said no. I asked to talk to corporate they refused. I am now taking this chop shop to court for severely affecting my life. Do not take your car to these people!

Had to have a transmission rebuilt. They had a quote to me next day and repairs done in four days. Doug and crew were awesome at the Beavercreek location!!

Waste too much time. Doesn't even check the car. Calls like after a week and cant figure out the problem whereas the issue is literally in front of them. Came to pick up the car and the problem is still there. Brought them inside the car and they say they didn't get it while they inspected. Bruh...the car doesn't even run...how cant you see the problem.

This place is amazing. They were able to offer me a next day appointment. I brought my vehicle in for a transmission issue, and instead of upselling me things I didn’t need, they offered me a much more affordable option that made sense.Customer service was fantastic, which doesn’t always happen in the auto repair world. Easy 5 stars

Brought in my vehicle for what I suspected was a transmission issue and Doug diagnosed and said the transmission was fine. Said it was most likely an exhaust leak issue and not the torque converter which I had suspected. Any other shop could have said it needed a rebuild and charged me $$$ but these guys are honest. If I ever need transmission work in the future I’ll be back for sure. A+ business!

I had my vehicle transmission replaced in Feb 2023. It was not repaired properly because items were originally left loose and not properly secured. This was fixed by another repair shop and Brownies did refund me. Then a couple days ago in Sept 2023, the transmission went back out. I was told that this would be repaired but could not be looked at for at least a week to properly diagnose the problem. I requested to get a refund for the rental that I am having to use during the time frame they will have my vehicle, since the faulty work that was done is the cause of me currently not having a vehicle. I was informed by the manager at the Beavercreek store and by the District Manager that they do not do that. I am not pleased with this solution; as I already went without the vehicle for a week when it was originally repaired and should have been done right the first time. I want my car properly fixed and I want to be compensated for the money that I have lost in order for me to still be able to work while they have my car. If I do not get this as my resolution; I will be sure to inform everyone that I know about my poor service with Brownies IT. I had my transmission replaced in Feb 2023. It had a year warranty on it and it went bad again in Sept 2023. It sat in the parking lot for three days with no word from the manager on the status of the vehicle without me calling myself and taking the initiative to check on it. I was told that it would be about a week before the vehicle would even be diagnosed to see what exactly was wrong with it. The car won't go in reverse, so I am pretty sure that is the transmission. I asked to have my rental reimbursed for the time they have my vehicle, since it should not, and would not, be there is it was repaired properly the first time. I was informed that this could not be done. I was not satisfied with that answer so I reached out to the district manager too; whom I had to go find at a store because he was not returning my call. He informed me that I would not be getting reimbursed either but that they would fix my vehicle. While I appreciate that my vehicle is being fixed, this doesn't do anything for the money that I am having to spend while they have my vehicle. This is ridiculous. They talk about saving people money, but now I am paying my car note still and paying for a rental. I understand me having to cover the rental in February, but not this time; as the car should not even need to be back in their shop. I am totally unimpressed and will not be using this company ever again in the future after all my warranties run out.

This place does a great job, I call with questions occasionally and they're always willing to answer my questions. My father worked there in the 90's and Bob the owner has always held his guys to a high and honest standard. It's great seeing that has not changed! If you have transmission issues I'd bring it here first.

So I had my first experience buying a lemon from Global Auto Leasing LLC in Columbus 7/18/2022 just four days after my husband passed away by 7/22/2022 the transmission had gone completely out and serpentine belt broke ?and When I say Doug & his Team are so amazing. My 2001 E320 needed a new transmission, a serpentine belt, pulleys, and new axles front and back. When I say my feelings were so hurt, nobody, nobody would touch this car but I had it towed up to Brownie’s IT in Beavercreek & gave Mr. Doug the option to inspect it and decide if my car was worth fixing. He looked at her and decided to take on the challenge and after deep, deep surgery on my precious Baby My ride is fully restored good as new. I’m so happy and pleased with their service, truly he saved me, he did !Services: Transmission
