I went in asking for a dip ombré (French) with a light chrome finish on top. Instead, I was given a French ombré acrylic, and a heavy chrome finish. In addition to that, the technician didn’t soak off the dip that was already on my nails - she just used the drill and filed away the first few layers. Unfortunately, she left quite a bit towards the back of my nails (by the cuticle) and then proceeded to apply the acrylic on top of it. I even asked before she applied the acrylic if it was dip because that’s what I wanted and I specifically didn’t want acrylic and she said it was dip, she just was applying it differently. I’m not one to tell someone how to do their job, so I trusted my technician. I’m the end, I walked away with very thick, very chrome-coated nails that were not what I asked for. After I had left the salon and really got a look at them, I was really embarrassed by the quality and how they came out. What’s even more frustrating is that my boyfriend and I were going to look at engagement rings and I wanted my nails to be nicely done for that, which unfortunately didn’t happen because we had to go to the jeweler before they closed. I ended up having to go to another salon later in the day to get them redone the way I wanted them because they were so poorly done. When we called Luminous to ask for a refund, we were told they wouldn’t do it and that the only option was to come back and let them try again. It’s unfortunate to be misled and cheated during a service and then not be able to get my money back. Having to pay for nail services twice in one day was frustrating. Ultimately, I won’t be returning, and I advise anyone going here to be very clear with your tech about what you want, and hold them accountable even if it’s uncomfortable.

I recommend avoiding the Beavercreek Luminous nails location. Luminous Nail Spas are independently owned and the Centerville one is good, but the Beavercreek location is terrible and a waste of money.

This felt like speed dating for nails.
I was getting a more expensive service because I enjoy the message and relaxation…this was anything but that! I felt like he couldn’t get to the next customer fast enough. He forgot to file my nails until after he polished and the polish was still wet. I was supposed to get a mani as well but he was already trying to check me out so I obliged. Stay clear of Dan if you’re looking for relaxation and someone who takes pride in their work.

Came in for just basic fingernail and toenail paint. Was rushed from the second we walked in the door. Barely had time to pick our nail polish color and we were being rushed to sit down. Took them 10 minutes to paint both mine and my daughters nails and toenails and both were messed up horribly. Not to mention completely overpriced. They charged me 87.00 for just regular nail polish. No manicure or pedicure or gel polish. Just basic nail polish! I don't even want to know what they charge for acrylic or the dip. Or their manicure and pedicures!

Booked a group of 11 girls for mani's and pedi's for my wedding. We had to book just a short WEEK out because my other nail salon fell through! What a blessing that was! So glad it happened so I could book with Luminous. They had food, drinks, and great service for us. They decorated for my occasion and made my night great! I will always recommend Luminous for a party or group, because it was fantastic!

The chair wasn’t adjustable and the technician doing my pedicure didn’t care.. She didn’t even pretend to care. It was as if I was talking to myself when I asked for help. I thought it was because she didn’t understand English.. however a regular customer said she knows what you’re saying. Customer service gets a 0 from me

I decided to try this nail salon after reading reviews from multiple places and I am very happy with the service I received. My nail tech was Chloe and she did a fantastic job! Chloe helped me choose my colors and took her time. I didn't feel rushed I will definitely be coming back..

I had a very friendly tech who explained things as she went. She was also very gentle with my fingers when she realized I had have arthritisin them. I got a removal and power dip.
