Murphy's Auto Care is our go-to for our cars. My recent visit was an oil change and a check to ensure the car was ready for a long trip. An issue with the alignment was discovered and fixed quickly. Murphy's provides regular updates on work being done, justifications, and qualifications as to which issues are critical vs. can be done later. Highly recommend...we've used both of their locations, and the standards they have are met at both.

I will start by saying that they overcharge their customers, I brought my vehicle in a couple weeks ago for a vibration I have at highway speeds and soft brake pedal, was told the carrier bearing on the driveshaft needs to be replaced and a brake flush to resolve both issues, I was quoted $1,800.Since I am mechanically inclined, I removed the driveshaft myself which took 30 minutes and sent it to American Driveline which is who they were going to send it to, I paid $165 to have the carrier bearing replaced, the same job that Murphys was going to charge me $1,300 to do which did not resolve the vibration and a brake flush is $500 which is highway robbery, I called another shop and was quoted $150 for a brake flush.Places like this is what's wrong with this country, capitalism at it's finest

A very friendly and nice automotive company, Murphy's went out of their way to find and get parts for my 24-year-old truck. They had it ready to go the next day, and it's the best it's been for a very long time. I like the fact that they keep you updated and let you know what cost will be and when everything was said and done and got my bill and paid it there was a list to let me know about upcoming things I might want to take care of and how much it would be. This will come in very handy for budgeting and letting me know what to keep an eye out for. Being new to Beaver Creek and not knowing too many people here I went online for reviews. The reviews were astonishing and all in all they're all right. Best experience with Auto Care for quite a while. They will be taking care of my truck for the next 24 years. Thank you all at Murphy's Auto Care.

Highly recommend. I had issues with my transmission leaking. Only vehicle so it was important to me it got done. Other places couldn’t get me in for 4 days. Without an apt, Murphys said drop it off. They had it fixed in less than an hour. They were very up front with price and had detailed pictures and videos for us “non-car” people. I will definitely be going back for future car maintenance!Services: Transmission

I am a Retired Army Combat Veteran and have had many cars serviced across the U.S. Murphy's Auto Shop is by far the most professional and customer-friendly auto shop I have had the pleasure of working with. Bobby, one of the Leads there, has done nothing but go above and beyond to ensure that I have been taken care of and has constantly kept me up to date. Bobby has even stood firmly with my Warranty Company when they have tried to drag their feet and pay my bill. So if you ever need any Services on your vehicle do not hesitate to use Murphy's Auto Shop. Thank you, Bobby and the rest of the employees at Murphy's for impeccable customer service. Ok, I’ve taken a few cars there. They were always thorough before, even if I took my car somewhere else due to their prices. The last time however, I took it there for an obvious knock in the back. Sounded like a bad strut/mount. Dropped it off, was called and said they couldn’t hear it, which is insane. Got off work and got a ride back, grabbed a guy from the office and took him for a ride. I pointed it out as we left the parking lot, it was that obvious. Dropped it back off a week later for further diagnosis. I got a quote with everything possible to replace in the suspension. They did not even take the rear tires off to check the struts and mounts, which are RIGHT THERE behind the tire. So much for a diagnosis. So no, I wasn’t going to spend over $5k to have all the suspension replaced to fix an obvious knock that they never found. $100 wasted for a diagnosis that wasn’t even completed.

TL;DR : Nice staff, quick job, reasonably priced and thorough inspection. Quoted an insane $1000 for brake pad and rotar parts, and an additional $400 in labor for all 4 brakes. Possibly predatory pricing as my wife went alone. My wife took her car here alone (I was traveling) for a brake issue and what I was pretty certain was mostly a bad ball joint. Starting with the positives. Wife reports very nice staff, they were quite quick, and the paid inspection was very thorough and reasonably priced ($60).The negative. Quite a large negative, hence the 2 star review. They attempted to send her a $4000 quote in "needs immediate service" from the inspection. Thats a whole lot, what's wrong with the car? 50% of that quote was for rotars and brake pad replacement. $1400 to do 2 axles of rotar and brake pads. My god that's an insane rip off."Parts" for the brake job were listed at $1000. $1000?! how. Are these solid gold rotars? There are few car repairs I can do, but brakes and rotars is one of them. so I just bought brand new semi metallic kits for rear and front brakes. $160 shipped. Still paid for the ball joint and realignment though. $700, not the absolute worst price and I very much can't do an alignment. Secondly they don't appear to price their labor by hours actually spent doing the job. The price on the quote is the price you pay. Not a fan of this. I'm happy to pay high hourly rates for skilled mechanics, I'm less happy to pay inflated flat rates for quick jobs. would have been $400 for labor on the brake job, when the rotars and pads were already removed during the inspection we paid for. it's a 1 hour job if everything is already removed. It's going to take me 2-3 hours to do myself now, but that's because I'm not efficient, don't have a lift, and don't have powered tools to do the job.I can't say for certain because this is the first and only time we will be using the shop at all, but I worry the price was inflated to an insane degree because my wife went alone. that's the only explanation I have for their part costs being so high, but I could be wrong. Regardless won't be back due to part costs being so high.

Wow! Talk about a 5-star experience! I had my muffler replaced and they made sure to do it right. ???? They even shuttled me home and picked me up. I’m thoroughly impressed with Murphy’s kind and professional staff! Keep up the good work!

Just wanted to share my experience with this shop. Told them what the issue was, they actually listed to my feedback, where a few other shops wouldn’t listen at all! Bobby was great to work with an took the information that I provided an used it to narrow what the problem was. I definitely will be back for future work on my vehicles! Thanks again!! Jeremy

I love these guys. They are always polite and keep me informed as to what needs to be done. I like to call the work report a "stop light report". Red - fix soon, yellow can wait, green is all good. Easy to get an appointment to work around my schedule.
